We had a lovely stay and the room had a great view over the fields and sea. The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast was great. I would definitely go back :)
Magical stay with incredible sea views and very attentive host. Nothing was too much for Andrea. We loved the vegan and vegetarian breakfast. Thank you for a great stay.
Hosts were very helpful and friendly! Beautiful views! Big room and bathroom. Close to local pub and beach through beautiful fields. Definitely want to go back to Trendrennen Farm!
We wanted somewhere close to the Minack Theatre, but never expected our choice to be as good as it turned out. This is hosted by a very fine lady who makes a really great breakfast and is so welcoming and friendly. The farmhouse is a fairly new building and newly fitted out. The location is out of this world with lovely views across the fields to the sea beyond. Not only is the Minack within walking distance but the exceptionally brilliant Telegraph Museum is even closer. If that's not enough, the Logan Rock Inn, great for food, is also just a walk across fields and within easy reach.
One of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed at. We were made welcome from the moment we were greeted on the doorstep and felt at ease during our whole stay. We had a double bedroom with a large private bathroom next to it and fantastic views of the countryside and the sea. For breakfast there was a great selection of cereals and yoghurt with individual bottles of milk and orange juice adding a lovely touch. You can choose what you like from the hot breakfast menu and the full English is not to be missed. It's in a lovely quiet location and a 10 minutes easy stroll to the local pub and a slightly arduous 20 minutes to the Minack theatre. Although it may seem slightly on the expensive side, they do say ' you get what you pay for ' and here you do get a lot- great service, quality furnishings, great location, fantastic views, peace and quiet and a warm welcome. We will definitely be staying again.
Perfect location with wide open views with access to the coastal path, Porthcurno and attractions including the beach and Minack Theatre, and the 16th century Logan Rock Inn at Treen - all within easy walking distance via footpaths (or slightly longer via the road). Lovely working farm, good hosts, great breakfasts !!! The frequent circular Coaster bus means all the attractions further afield are easily accessible without having to use the car. We left ours in Bristol and got the train to Penzance, then the bus to and from the farmhouse (bus stops closeby).
The property is very modern and very well kept. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and the bathroom was amazing with a modern walk in shower and large bath for those needing to soak. The location is remote and rather beautiful with views of the countryside and coast.
Andrea was a good host, who makes a great fry up! And not forgetting Ruby the dog, who loves a tummy rub.
Would certainly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.
If we had any criticism to give, it would probably only be the road down to the farm could do with some smoother gravel putting down and a sign to show you which building to head towards since there are a number of them and it was quite confusing when we first arrived. Honestly that's it, the place is great.
