Upper Chandlers Cottage - Sea Views & Wi-Fi

Perfectly positioned within walking distance of one of Cornwall's prettiest harbours and set within the winding streets of the Village of Mousehole, Upper Chandlers Cottage is the epitome of luxury coastal retreat, offering families and couples a dreamy base from which to explore some of Cornwall's best beaches and landmarks.

Utterly gorgeous throughout, the cottage is beautifully proportioned, with ample airy space for six guests to unwind in. Designed to make the most of every inch of its footprint, a central outdoor terrace connects two of the home's bedrooms while a spiral staircase from the lounge leads to a further upper floor bedroom. Whitewashed walls and ceilings compliment sanded floorboards and exposed roof trusses, with two large bay windows inviting languid afternoons in the comfy armchair with a good book and the wonderful sea views in the distance.

There are spaces to come together in like the large open plan lounge with its sinkable sofa and wood-burner, and places to retreat to in the form of three stunning bedrooms and a bijou roof top terrace; all sublimely decorated and furnished. A fully equipped contemporary kitchen makes whipping up feasts a cinch, with a rustic dining table and seating being the perfect place to share meals and conversation.

Unspoilt and within easy reach of some of the tip of western Cornwall's best landmarks and beaches, Mousehole has a lot to offer. There are award winning restaurants and scenic coastal paths as well a variety of independent shops and galleries to peruse. The iconic tidal island of St Michael's Mount is within a short distance, as is Porthcurno Beach, the Minnack Theatre and St Ives.

This wonderful home pays close attention to detail, and is packed with features that have been designed to infuse comfort and convenience throughout. Some of these include Superfast broadband, a Bose home speaker, Nespresso coffee machine and Smart TV with Netflix as well as a fantastic double shower with two rain heads and a roof top terrace for morning coffees or evening g&t's.

*Please note that a starter pack of logs is provided between April and October for the wood burning stove so guests will need to purchase more if needed.

Immaculate Upper Chandlers

Family pulled out at last minute so it was just the two of us in the three bedroom stunningly renovated cottage. Very modern inside and super comfortable with the location being just brilliant. Mousehole is a cracker location for enjoying the historic buildings plus the coastal walks.

Upper Chandlers Cottage in Mousehole

First class accommodation in a beautiful place. Great attention to detail throughout the property. Property in an excellent location. Parking a bit tricky , but to be expected and wasn’t a problem. We are a family of four with two adult children so it was perfect for us. We loved our stay in Mousehole. This was one of the best places we have stayed in England.

So outside area is misleading. It’s a walkway on and between roofs - not an area to sitOne bedroom had no curtains. 5:30am wake up with the sun is no fun. Also one room had no towels in it. Directions to the apartment was very confusing. Took us 40 mins to find.

Relaxing Mousehole

This is our second stay in Upper Chandlers. The flat is stylish and very light and airy. It's a nice place to come back to after a day out and about. There are sea views from the living room and master bedroom (you can see as far as the harbour) A tiny roof terrace off the master bedroom is a nice for morning coffee (with just enough space for 2) The owner has provided nice bedlinen, crockery, cutlery and utensils, plus a Nespresso machine. There is plenty of hot water for showers.. The bathrooms are well appointed with a double ended shower in the master. Close to everything in Mousehole. Frequent buses mean you can park up for a good part of the week if you want to. Highly recommended
