Me and my husband stayed here for a few days for his birthday and we wished weâd stayed all week! The barns are beautifully decorated inside with all of the amenities you could possibly need. The space and views outside were stunning and the whole stay was so peaceful. We were able to take our dog on walks across the fields and didnât meet another soul. It was perfect for our dog to totter around outside while we enjoyed the BBQ and the views. We ate breakfast at the farm shop behind the barn while we stayed here which was delicious and then ate dinner at a local restaurant in Pershore which we enjoyed too. We ate at The Claude Choules Bar and Kitchen. We will definitely be heading back again! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
The barn is obviously relatively new and other than a bit of decorative touching up in the bedroom, was in very good condition, except for the main flooring, where the laminate planking was begining to lift in numerous places, with one piece right in the kitchen area that was sticking up and is a trip hazard (I reported it). I'm not sure if the property experienced flooding last year, the owner has dug out a large culvert partly around the front of the property, but if not whoever layed it originally did a shoddy job! Overall it was well furnished, although the mattress is already dipping into the middle of the bed. The shower was great and powerful and the room was spacious.
The views from the proprty look out over fields leading down to the river and onto the Vale of Evesham; spotted a reasonable selection of wildlife ie a Muntjac deer, rabbits, squirrels, pheasants and a pair of red kites. Also bats. A suggestion for the owner as a great selling point would be to install a trail camera, with night vision, linked to the internet so people could see all the wildlife, including the nocturnal ones - we heard a fox or two.
We were lucky to be there when the temp was in the high 20 to 30c and we needed to have all the doors and windows open, which meant dozens of buzzy flies, so some fly screens for the doors would be good.
We'd prefer a dishwasher to a clothes washer\dryer.
Recommed the Farm shop on-site, but it closes at 4pm, so bring some supplies with you. Great stay
