Luxurious Escape in a secluded conservation area at the Dupplin Lochs (lakes)
The house has been renovated to a very high standard with 3 double bedrooms all en-suite , a lovely glass sun room and an outdoor hot tub with spectacular views over the moors. Classified as a SSSI site (site site of special scientific interest) the lochs are completely private with an abundance of Sottish bird and wildlife. There are no neighbours in site with Perth City centre only a 10 minute drive away. Surrounded by nature you can walk out from the property to the lochs and picnic privately next to the waters edge with swans and all sorts of birdlife .
All bedrooms can be make into doubles and the house has been decorated to a very high standard. A separate games room with table tennis and other games is provided, or just sit in the sofa , throw open the double doors and take in the view.
At Dupplin Estate safety is our number one priority. We are taking all the steps possible to ensure your safety when you stay with us. Properties are left vacant for 72hrs between stays and we have invested in a fogging machine to safely disinfect the property in addition to our new Covid-19 cleaning protocols.
We are a member of the Scottish Association of Self Caterers who have been instrumental in producing the new strict 2-stage (Clean & Disinfect) cleaning protocols which we have adopted. During the height of the pandemic, we offered Free Medical stays to support doctors and nurses who needed an emergency base. We had to abide by incredibly strict cleaning protocols and as a result we feel confident that we can provide you with a safe environment for you to relax in.
All of our cleaning and admin staff have undertaken the Landlord’s Little Helper Covid-19 Holiday Let Cleaning course. This together with our own COVID-19 cleaning checklists and risk assessments allow us to reassure you that safety is the number one priority for anyone staying at Dupplin Estate. We take this responsibility seriously both for you and also for our staff and community.
We have invested in additional PPE, hand sanitiser, disinfectants specifically for COVID-19 and a fogging machine for use between stays to ensure the property is fully disinfected. This uses a food safe chemical and poses no risk but allows us to ensure we can guarantee a thorough disinfection of the property.
We will continue to keep a close eye on government guidelines and changes to cleaning protocols as more research is done into Covid-19.
Some of the lovely soft furnishings which add to the atmosphere in our cottages have sadly had to be removed (until we have a vaccine) so please forgive us if it is not as ‘pretty’ as it looks in some of the photographs. We have some books in the property, but the pages have not been cleaned on every stay (our 72hr vacancy between stays should deal with this). The guest information folder is cleaned between stays. There is disinfectant and hand sanitiser under the sink if you need it at any stage during your stay.
We usually provide canisters of coffee, tea and sugar. We have now switched to sachets which are not reused for the next guest if you don’t use them.
As part of our commitment to the environment we used to use refillable products from Scottish Fine Soaps in the bathrooms. We have replaced these with smaller single use bottles (any not used are not recycled to the next guests).

Superb house in a lovely setting
We really enjoyed our stay at Blairbell Cottage! It's a beautiful cottage and perfect for our family of 6. The kids loved the games room with the games, table football and SNES. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped. The wi-fi is very fast and rock solid. The beds are really comfy in every room. The views from the front over the fields and moors is beautiful. We did walks around down to the lochs and around the estate, and spotted wildlife including red squirrels. We especially liked that the cottage is completely isolated but only minutes from supermarkets, Perth etc. Trips out to the Perth Museum, Stewarts Dairy, Loch of the Lowes and Gloagburn Farm Shop were all highlights. This was just the holiday we needed in a perfect cottage and we all loved it!

Perfect location for exploring
This is an A plus property. The decor and atmosphere were just perfect. All while having nature (cows, sheep, hares, and glorious birds), at your front door. It is a fantastic place to rewind after a day exploring Scone Castle, Perth, Cromix hotel, Loch Leven, etc… I have stayed in many homes and this is perfection!

Absolutely loved this place, the house is perfect and the setting was amazing with lovely walks around the loch we couldn't fault it and quite frankly could happily live there. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

Wonderful property. Exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need and more. Exciting area with lots of wildlife , stoats, deer, raven, buzzards, hares, frogs, swans, heron, and so much more. Play room was fantastic for my 16 year old who enjoyed table tennis, games console and badminton. We loved the sun room to sit in early morning and late evening to watch the cows and wildlife. Our favourite places to visit were Edinburgh, Perth, Falkirk and Stirling. We enjoyed a fabulous French meal Perth's Cafe Tabou. Can't recommend it enough. Hot tub was lovely with lots of room with towels and flip flops provided. Definately want to return to this property very soon.

Lovely home in a beautiful setting
Beautiful home kitted out to a very high standard in a lovely private setting. Owner has provided everything you could need. Even though the weather wasn’t great we still managed to spend lots of time in the hot tub. The separate games room was also enjoyed by all the family. Would certainly stay again.
