Had a great experience at Ocean Beach Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, the location is great, the on site dining options (the bar and restaurant) have great food at equally great prices, and the rooms are spacious. Only "negative" (though it's not a complaint given how well priced the hotel is) is that the rooms and the hotel building are showing their age. Staff were incredibly amenable and when I had an issue with my bathroom, they offered to change my room (which I wasn't even requesting). Overall great experience and would recommend to anyone.

Our room did not have a view but it was spacious and clean. As mentiolned in other reviews, the room would greatly benefit from a refurbishment (especially the shower tiling). The kitchenette would benefit from a couple of plates and some cutlery. However, we found the room comfortable and we will happily stay there agsin.

The hotel showed a bit aged, however the location, view and the price is unbeatable. If you are want to stay next to coast, I strongly recommend to consider stay in this hotel.

It was so refreshing to enter a room that was so full of light The doona was very light weight - to have an extra blanket in the room would be awesome. Instead of having to ask for one. Property is in need of a renno, but understand this is a work in progress. Suggestion - to consider a free bottle of H2O for guests. Check that the lights work Thank you for a lovely stay

I had a wonderful stay at the Ocean Beach Hotel. The staff were very accommodating with my early arrival, which I really appreciated. The room was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious. The view of the beach from the window was an added bonus — absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

This property is convenient but tired & needs a revamp.. The gate to the security car park malfunctioned on Day 1 of my stay & remained open.. This issue wasn’t fixed for the 4 days of my stay so car park had no security. The lift makes a lot of noise so at night it’s hard to sleep..
