Como Retreat is located nearby both north and south freeway entrances meaning access all areas of Perth!
8 minute drive from Perth’s CBD and major attractions including Kings Park, South Beach, Perth Zoo, Elizabeth Quay, Fremantle or Rottnest Island ferries, all a short drive away.

Farmers Markets operate every Saturday morning from 7 till 12-30.
Local producers, artisans, musicians provide a beautiful setting to a gorgeous mornings activity.

Two bedroom, fully self contained villa, located next door to the main residence, nearby public transport, off street parking.

Built in 2017, the villa comes with a double bed and two single beds (third bed is a single bed mattress on the floor). All linen/towels are provided.

The kitchen is full size with all utensils and pots/pans and basic foods (oils, salt/pepper, etc).
There is also a washing machine and clothes line that you can set up in the outdoor area adjoining the bedroom.

Private gated entrance ensures your privacy for the duration of your stay.

Curtin University, Elizabeth Quay, City of Perth, Perth Zoo, Kings Park, Swan River, Optus Stadium, Raffles Hotel, restaurants, cafes, shopping centre all within a short distance.

The walk to Curtin University takes 15-20 minutes and the path takes you through some bushland that is home to the rare red/white tailed cockatoos. These majestic birds are easily identifiable by their red/white tail feathers, their loud squawks and their devouring of honky nuts!

Public transport is just around the corner with bus#100 & #101 running every 3 minutes to Canning Bridge train station (the next stop to Perth Citys' Elizabeth Quay) and 2 minutes the other way to Curtin University.

For those who would like a long stay, weekly cleaning/shopping can be organised for an additional cost.

The walks along the Swan River are a must with many highlights we can point out to you.

McDougall Park is also down the road with zip line, extensive playgrounds and exercise equipment beside the lake and a myriad of walking trails to delight!

The property itself is lovely but the advertising is misleading . It's a side building on same property as the owners personal home with the dining area exposed and in full view of the main house , so not very private. It was hot the day I arrived but the air conditioner did not cool the place down at all with cheap fans for the bedroom area which just moved the air around . I paid for 4 days , left after 4 hours and no refund.

Lovely Clean Modern Guest House

My husband and I really enjoyed our short stay at this guest house in Como. It was a modern, clean, stand alone building in a good area. It had everything we needed. The owner was easy to contact, and was very hospitable. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much.

Great spot to stay, fantastic hosts!

Como Retreat was truly a home away from home. Clean and comfortable with all the facilities you would need on holiday. Public transport almost on the door stop means everything is super accessible. They have a fantastic Farmers Market just down the road on a Saturday morning which makes grabbing beautifully fresh supplies very easy. Lots of great restaurants within a 10 minute stroll. Annette and her family could not have made us feel more welcome. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, great hosts

My stay at Como Retreat was fantastic and I would recommend this as a base to anyone visiting Perth. Easy access to public transport, restaurants and cafes. Neat, clean and spacious villa with everything you need to be self reliant. The hosts were extremely welcoming too, nothing was too much trouble.

Much more than what we expected.

Great spot, close to city and public transport. We came to visit our son at Curtin University and he was able to stay with us for a couple of nights. The villa had everything we needed, quiet and comfy,.
