Charming Southwest Style Vacation Home

This beautiful two-story, nestled in a quiet neighborhood, is 2100 sq ft of perfect vacation property. Embellished in a relaxing Southwest style, the main floor has vaulted ceilings, Saltillo tiling throughout and kitchen with spacious center island. Kitchen is fully stocked with a variety of kitchenware and basic cooking supplies with brand new stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. Enjoy over a 100+ channels with live TV with DVR recording services in both the family room and master bedroom. There is a powder room on the main floor, as well as a well-stocked separate laundry space.

Upstairs are four beds: the master with king bed with walk-in closet and full bathroom, two separate rooms with their own queen bed, and one bedroom with two twin beds. All these bedrooms share the guest bathroom. All house bathrooms have been remodeled; both are walk-in showers with NO TUBS.

We offer Wifi and a printer for your convenience. The furnace/AC unit, and roof were recently replaced.

The backyard is a beautiful oasis featuring pebble-tec pool, water fall, pool light for nighttime and a basketball hoop. The pool is NOT HEATED. The pool is surrounded by a large abode paver patio with patio cover, comfortable eating area, fire pit and Weber propane barbecue. Attention for families with small children- There is NO pool fence and home is not child proof. Guests can find a shed on the side of house in the backyard that has pool toys, floats, etc.

The home is meticulously maintained and we are focused on cleanliness.

Recreation activity, including golf, tennis and 16 lighted public Pickle Ball Courts, are offered by the incredible Ahwatukee community and located just minutes away. This property is near various mountain trails on South Mountain for hiking and mountain biking. Many fine and casual dining restaurants are nearby, along with grocery stores, movie theater and shopping. Travel is easy, with Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport just nine miles away.

We had a great trip and the property was exactly as advertised. Very clean and the host was wonderful. The backyard was awesome except for the fact that the pool was not heated (which we knew would be the case). Very convenient location and the neighborhood was clean, quiet, and felt very safe to take walks whenever we wanted to.

A Superb Experience

I can't say enough good things about this entire experience. The property is in a great location close to everything you could need. The house is spotlessly clean and feels like home. How many times have you checked into a Vrbo and found it lacking in the necessary cookware/equipment to make a meal? Not here! This is the most well-appointed home I have ever stayed in. Gaby has thought of absolutely everything and is a phenomenal hostess. We didn't need to communicate often during our stay, but when we did, Gaby responded immediately. We genuinely have never had a lovelier experience with Vrbo. And the backyard is an oasis. What a gorgeous pool area! Thanks for everything, Gaby. If we're ever back in the area, we'll plan on staying with you again for sure!

Great time in Phoenix

Listing was 100% accurate. Communication and check in/out process was great since we got in well after midnight. House was very clean and owner provided all of the needed items for our 5 day stay. Pool area was great although it was cool when we were there so we did not use. There were 5 of us and the house met our needs. Close by had tons of restaurants and shopping options.

Amazing Quite Home

The entire neighborhood is quite and full of animals to see, you don't have to take a long drive to see a Roadrunner they seem to live there along with bunny rabbits. We had a great time and great night sleep on a comfy bed.

Loved homey vintage American vibes

Really enjoyed my stay here. Chunky Spanish colonial furniture and American appliances that keep on working. Very practical layout which felt spacious. Super quiet and safe area with friendly polite neighbors. Nice hiking areas close by. Approximately 4 hours from canyons. Definitely recommend. Owners Kyle and Susan were friendly and helpful.

Dissatisfied Overall Stay- Fire Dept. called having to vacate house (incident #23- 457447)

1). Poor cleaning/upkeep of house evidenced by dirty coffee pot, dirty cabinets and surfaces, fake nails, rotted baseboard, improper drainage of shower and dust everywhere. Host indicated they would let housekeeping know but no one came to address our concern's, so we tried to clean to make our stay more comfortable. 2). We were not able to park our Vehicle in garage because there were two vehicles in there. We expressed our safety concern due to not knowing who had access to enter from garage into house prompting us to put chair behind door and locking our bedrooms at night. Host response the vehicles belong to them, and they are the only ones with key/code. 3) In the middle of our final night a couple of us woke up coughing and noticed the strong toxic odor coming from area by laundry room. We called Fire Department immediately and was told to vacate house and wait for the Fire Department. They discovered excessive buildup of dust build up in the vent fan which was on the brink of starting an electrical fire. This discovery explains the dust we saw all over the home and the cause for the headaches and respiratory issues we had while there. We were forced to gather our belongings and vacate the property at 2am. I contacted "both host" immediately and still have received no response. *We are requesting a full refund. Please contact me as soon as possible.

Great location close to everything

The home itself is exactly as described, the bed in the main room was extremely comfortable. We did have some issues with the wifi which the owner was immediately responsive and was taken care of, this was important for us as this was also a work trip. Everything you could imagine is near by and if you get a chance to try the Italian restaurant it was fabulous! the only negative comment I would have, the home on the surface is clean, however, it could use a good deep clean. The kitchen had splatters on walls, the sink strainer had dried up food in it, I wrapped it in a paper towel and did not use it. Wall hangings, especially in the main bathroom need to be dusted, with the moisture the settled dust was tacky. Overall though the home is very nice, comfortable and homey.
