Rooms were lovely although bed (mattress)was extremely hard, breakfast had to be ordered the night before as no restaurant, basic breakfast. Pool was amazing we had the pool to ourselves the whole week - little further away than I wanted but that was our fault although an amazing restaurant across the road ‘the wood house’ ate there everyday.

The Golden Topaz way surpassed expectations! Tom the manager was amazing! The property is exactly as the photos look, just opposite is a great restaurant, then there are 4 others down the road towards the beach. The pool is great, breakfasts are fantastic! I would definitely return!

This is a lovely resort, it's small and has a beautiful pool and grounds and it's very relaxing The bed rooms are good, comfortable.. Fairly basic.. Very roomy.. Nice balcony Any small issues are resolved quickly by the staff The breakfasts are a bit inflexible as have to order the night before and not many European options..

A hidden oasis

This was one of my most unusual stays at a resort as we came during low season and we were the only ones there for the week. The owners live on site and they were great at accommodating whatever we needed, which wasn’t much. But check in was simple, they brought our bags up to our room and the room was clean and cool. They provide small toiletries if you need. My only complaint was the hot water is so finicky that you sometimes are cold or burning hot and you’ll never know what’s coming out. They let us rent a moped for $120,000 a day which is super cheap. And we had to stay an extra day at the same rate due to flight cancellation. You can pre order breakfast to make life simple and it is very affordable. The site itself is well maintained and lush with foliage and a beautiful warm pool. We enjoyed it very much and it was a fantastic deal.

Nice clean property and lovely staff. Good location to beach and surrounding restaurants. A great little place across the road open from breakfast to dinner with good food and cocktails. Huge rooms, bed and bathroom. They use solar so didnt always have hot water but not a big problem as they turned on the hot water service when it was required. Nice pool, with hardly any residence using it. Would definetly stay there again.

Tom was absolutely amazing. He could not do enough for us. His English is fantastic and he is full of energy and so very happy and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, clean, great air con. Amazing hotel - great rooms, super clean. Pool area lovely. Only a short walk to the beach but buggy ride is offered and to local supermarket. Food in the restaurant is freshly cooked to order and a nice menu. Try the lemon freeze drink it's amazing! Lovely staff.

Decent hotel which is far away from everything!

Hotel is decent but very far away from everything. The beach nearby is very rocky and not suitable for swimming. There are no shops nearby. You need to take a taxi everywhere.

Wonderful place

Spent 7 nights at Golden Topaz and had a wonderful stay. Bungalows are very spacious and clean. Staff are so friendly and very helpful. Whilst in it a 20 minute drive into Duong Dong area it was worth staying at this resort. Pool area was wonderful, clean and always had plenty of lounges to choose from.

Den närmsta stranden kunde man inte nyttja pga ett annat hotell, men man kunde få skjuts till en annan strand, vilket var väldigt bra. Fint rum och sköna sängar men tyckte det var lite jobbigt att badrummet hade en öppen del till rummen som låg ovanpå, vilket gjorde det väldigt lyhört. Det finns några restauranger på gatan utanför.
