There were a few teething problems at the start of this stay. The Salinda pickup at the airport wasn’t ideal as I was waiting over 20 mins for other guests to arrive, after a long flight I just wanted to get there! So in the end I got a Grab and made myself to the resort. Not a great start. The welcome when I arrived was OK, free juices and a cold towel. The room was beautiful and the premium sea view room certainly lived up to the name. Housekeeping staff were excellent. The breakfast buffet is nice, a little more variety would be good. The staff at breakfast were efficient and professional. Although the uniforms that the women wore were something out of the handmaids tale, and they all wore crocs!! Someone needs to rethink this! The hotel itself is showing signs of aging and could do with a refresh. Carpets stained and frayed, not exactly 5 star. The cyan pool beach bar - the food was not good nor was it Vietnamese in anyway. Which was disappointing. The pool is large and salt water is great, however there was no real service to get a drink, there is a flag to raise when you want service but no one comes. On several occasions I had to go to the bar to order and the wait staff were just standing around talking ignoring the guests. Overall it was a pleasant stay, but not a 5 star resort in my opinion.

Lovely resort with friendly staff and a great buffet breakfast. Right on the beach and close to other eating places and shops. Rooms were large, clean and glass water bottles were refilled daily. Turndown service included a small gift each evening which was nice. Live music downstairs and an activity to do each day as well as a games area. Restaurants looked nice but were a bit too expensive for us.

Faultless. Everything about the hotel, staff, food, massage is perfect. The best food that have had in a hotel by a long way. The seafood is amazing the Indian restaurant and Vietnamese restaurant are of the highest quality. Would highly recommend and will certainly be returning as soon as possible.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Salinda! The resort is beautiful and we enjoyed the overall layout of the resort. The pool area is wonderful and relaxing. We didn’t get a chance to swim in the ocean due to rough sea but the beach area was clean and the sand soft. There were pool chairs for everyone and very attentive pool staff. The breakfast each morning was a buffet feast! So many options and wonderfully laid out! We ate at the Italian restaurant on site and it was so good!! Our server was amazing! Our room was very nice, spacious and clean. The resort transportation was quick and efficient. We highly recommend the Salinda and hope to return one day soon.

My adult daughter and I really enjoyed our 5 nights stay here. The resort was wonderful and the staff and facilities were faultless. We liked the variety and quality of the food at breakfast as well as the ambience (live piano). We also really enjoyed the two dining experiences we had at the Asian restaurant by the beach. The food was fantastic. It is a shame that the restaurant is not open on a Monday evening as we were looking forward to dining there on our last night. The gym facilities were excellent. It was clean and well maintained. Our Mountain View room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The grounds were well maintained and very beautiful. Highly recommend.

Salinda is a beautiful, private location. It’s like being on an island by yourself. The view of the beach and pool are spectacular and the gardens are lush. Everything is integrated with nature and it is healing and recuperative and a great way to unwind after the rush, rush of traveling through Japan and mainland Vietnam. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was great too (though we only ate the breakfast in-site—we ate at local restaurants for dinner (I highly recommend the Lobster Cave, near the night market.). Salinda staff cleaned our rooms every day without being asked; towels and umbrellas are provided depending on your needs and everything is provided with loving care. I truly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Salinda and will definitely try to come back. The only negative: it doesn’t appear that the hotels and bars in Vietnam don’t really understand how to make international cocktails. (Like pina coladas (not blended) for my daughter, or cosmopolitans for me.). But it’s a minor complaint. Everything else was top notch.

This location was absolutely amazing, from the Authentic Indian Cuisine to the hospitality. If you can speak with Aidan (Ahn), he can suggest some must-dos not too far from the resort. One of the best resorts I've stayed in this far.

Generally excellent but needs some improvements

Lovely hotel set in lush gardens with an excellent pool overlooking the beach. Service at the pool is first class. The breakfast buffet is superb. However the hotel’s Internet is very variable, the ageing flat screen TV is barely watchable due to appalling reception and some elements in our room were faulty such as lighting and the USB port didn’t work. A sea view with a balcony is a must!

The Salinda is an outstanding hotel, from the cleanliness, staff and service. The hotel grounds are immaculate. Breakfast is plentiful, the best we’d had in Vietnam. I would recommend anyone to stay here.
