I booked our room through Hotels.com based on the price & the pictures looking nice. I paid a higher price for a pet friendly room then got charged more when we checked in. We discovered the motel does not lock their perimeter doors ever, it did not feel safe to us. The beds were on a type of metal frame that made a noise every time you rolled over in bed. My husband said it sounded like furnace kicking in. Our shower curtain needed to be bleached as it was orange stained from mildew. The hard surfaced floors felt sticky under my slippers and my slippers made a sticking noise as I walked around the room. I found a nickel on the floor by the bed and wondered how well the floor had been cleaned overall. The pillows were cheap & uncomfortable. The first room we were given, the bathroom water faucet felt like it was going to fall off when starting the water and the entrance area from the parking area had some outdoor firepits with broken down wire covers laying around. It did not look nice at all. The first room we were given smelled like urine & marijuana. When we complained, the manager & an employee came to our room in concern but did not understand why we were upset. They did move us to a "better" room. The hallway carpet needs to be shampooed and serving generic brand yogurt at the Continental Breakfast says cheap.
