The Apartment:



Our Mountain View apartment (@mountainviewkaprun) offers some of the greatest Alpine views in the area, and a lovely, spacious terrace from which to enjoy them. Facing the southern mountains and the peak of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, we get longer hours of sun than most and the terrace is the perfect place to relax after a day’s hiking, skiing or sightseeing.



The apartment is comfortable and well-equipped, ideal for a maximum of four persons. The bedroom is fitted with a comfy double bed, large wardrobe with plenty of space, and a wall heater for chilly nights. The spacious bathroom has a strong hot shower, toilet, sink and underfloor heating to keep your toes warm in winter.



The open-plan, light-filled living area includes a fully-fitted kitchen with fridge-freezer, hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee machine, toaster, kettle and plenty of brand-new pots, pans and kitchenware. Within the living area you’ll also find a dining table for four persons and an extremely comfy double sofa bed, as well as two armchairs and a TV. Strong high-speed WIFI is also available throughout.



Leading off the living area, the apartment’s highlight – the sun terrace – has another dining table and four chairs. It’s a beautiful spot for coffee, a meal or a glass of wine at any time of day.

The Location:



Our Mountain View apartment is in the pretty little village of Fürth, a part of Piesendorf, perfectly located between Zell am See and Kaprun, with spectacular views of the mountains.



You can be in Kaprun by car in four minutes, or by a lovely half-hour walk. Don’t miss the 20,000 m² Tauern Spa with its 12 pools, saunas and treatments, as well as Kaprun’s great restaurants, bars and shops.



Zell am See and its beautiful lake are just ten minutes by car from our apartment. Stroll around the village, enjoy a meal in a cosy restaurant, take a boat across the lake, try out the 36-hole golf course, or head up to one of the hiking trails. Located between mountains, glacier and lake, Zell am See is really something special.



If you’re a skier or snowboarder, you’ll love our location, with access to some of the best skiing in the Alps practically on our doorstep. A three-minute drive will take you to the family mountain of Maiskogel in Kaprun which now connects directly with the 100% snow-guaranteed Kitzsteinhorn Glacier ski resort. Hop on the new 3K K-onnection gondola and you’ll have access to 61 kilometres of pistes right at your feet.



Alternatively, drive five minutes to the Areitbahn gondola station for access to Zell am See’s Schmittenhöhe area with its 77 kilometres of slopes, 23 mountain huts, bars and restaurants to enjoy mid-ski, and panoramic views of the valley and lake below.



Don’t worry if you don’t have a car – convenient ski buses depart from a short walk away from our apartment, heading to both the Kaprun and Zell am See ski areas.
