It was simply amazing. A rustic, no-key turn key suite which was more than comfortable and clean. If you do not like dogs, this may not be the resort for you as the owners keep them. Beautiful beach. The only drawback was the toilet area which was too small for my husband so I would not suggest it for anyone over 200 lbs. Apart from that it was quite comfortable with a rustic feel surrounded by natural vegetation away from the road.
Upon arrival at hotel they had no knowledge of the reservation, they had received no communication from Expedia. We were lucky they were able to accommodate us. Either book direct with the property, or always, always reconfirm with the property after you book through Expedia.
I have vacationed all over the world, I love to travel and have stayed at many amazing places but I keep going back to the Pigeon Cay Beach Club.
The beauty of the island and amazing energy there is all encompassing, I always have the best time. Itâs the only time in my hectic life that I can shut off the phone and computer and relax and enjoy myself.
The first couple of years I did bring my laptop but by the third year I didnât have time. I was too busy snorkeling, kayaking or riding my bike around the island.
I canât think of another place that I would want to go to year after year but itâs the only place I really can unwind and get back to recharging my internal batteries.
The resort is beautiful, clean and accommodating and the owners and staff go out of their way to make everyone feel special. Thank you to everyone at Pigeon Cay for making my stay with you better and better each year.
Pigeon Cay is absolutely awesome. We travel a lot and must say this place is perfect for people who want seclusion, comfortable and clean accommodations, and miles of beach with just your footprints on it. The access to Bonefish is closer than most mailboxes.
If you want to sip a cold Kalik, stare into your ladies eyes on a romantic beach and eat lobster as big as a loaf of bread with out another tourist in sight this is the place. The owners are very accommodating and can work out just about anything for you. You just need to ask. However being a self sufficient traveler makes these kind of places what they are. Perfect.
All the Bungalows are clean, well kept, stocked with anything you would need to cook with, have comfy beds, AC (we did not need it) and seating to hang out in. The staff is very kind and helpful. You could be up at 8 am or noon and they would be waiting for you to stir before engaging you for breakfast or coffee. That is a nice touch. They are on your schedule not you on theirs.
We tried to cook as much as possible to keep the costs down I would recommend that. But that takes planning. We enjoyed a few meals made by the staff and they were fine. A bit pricy but your on an island in the middle of the ocean. So know what to expect and your will fall in love with this place. I give it a 9 out of 10 and my wife says itÂs a cute 9.5. Do your home work, know what to expect, compare the other places and if you donÂt go here you will regret it. Trust me on this one.
