Parking around Big Bear Resort is generally available, but it can feel a bit tight â kind of like city parking, especially during busier times. Each unit is allowed one parking spot in the lot at the bottom of the hill. The spots aren't assigned, but there's usually enough for everyone staying in the complex.
If you have more than one vehicle, there's "Excess Parking" nearby, plus a few extra spots in front of and behind the condo buildings up the hill. No trailers or motorhomes unless they can fully fit into a standard-sized parking space.
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is a fantastic blend of convenience, mountain charm, and resort-style amenities. Located within Big Bear Resort, this area is perfect for those looking to enjoy the best of Pigeon Forge while still having a peaceful retreat in the Smoky.

Getting Around:
The drive is easy â just a half mile off the Parkway in a developed area. Unlike remote cabins with steep, winding roads, this location is much more accessible. The only challenge is a steep switchback at the neighborhood entrance, but most cars handle it fine. In icy conditions, it could be tricky until plows have salted the road.

We booked this last minute trip and took our 17 year old daughter and her friend! We had a great stay, super close to the indoor pool entrance and game room for the teens! Close to everything in Pigeon Forge! Would definitely stay again!
The location of the property is perfect! The cabin itself has a great home like feel. It could use a few updates, such as a dresser in the lower bedroom, more kitchen utensils and a new cover for the hot tub. Outside of these minor updates the place was exactly what we needed for our week long getaway. We would definitely recommend and return to use again.
Beautiful property. Had all the amenities that I needed for my stay. Very clean. Great location centrally located. Outstanding view. I will definitely go back to this cabin. Thank you for making my vacation outstanding.
First I will say because I booked last minute, my pickings were slim but my husband wanted to stay in a cabin. When I booked, I didn't have an option to cancel but I was fine with that until I found out two days before the trip that the hot tub couldn't be used and then the day before that the patio wasn't accessible bc it wasn't safe. Both of these things I felt the owner knew ahead of time and probably during my booking. So we couldn't enjoy any views and to top it off the view from the front porch was the back of a high rise condo that was under construction. The downstairs shower didn't work so we stayed in the upstairs bedroom. There was a musty smell and the cabin just needed to be aired and freshened up.
We received a 25% discount but honestly I would have preferred the option to cancel. We were celebrating our 22nd wedding anniversary and while we enjoyed our time in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, the cabin was not the vibe.
We spent a week at this house. We had a great time and it was close to Dollywood and all the things to do in Pigeon Forge. I liked the location as it was off the main road so a little more quiet but still close to the action. My family also enjoyed the pools! Communication with owner was great too! I didnât known when I booked that this was in a condo/duplex and this is the upper unit. It was quiet though. My only feedback is that it needs small maintenance on several things - dripping showers, squeaking downstairs bedroom fan when I turned up to high, blinds broken, coffee maker with buttons worn off. All minor inconveniences that can be easily remedied.
I was a little skeptical from a few reviews and never going to this area before. We absolutely loved it and are already talking about when we can go back. The cabin is in a perfect location. Beautiful views of the mountains. Relaxing rocking chairs out front. It was clean- my kids were crawling around and never were dirty. No bugs. Just a very few minor things that didnât make any difference for us ie a toilet paper holder wasnât there or cabinet. Iâm sure Samuel would have responded if we mentioned the minor things bc he was quick to respond. He also gave us tips where to visit. My son loved indoor and outdoor pool. We loved hot tub and sitting on upper balcony. It was quiet and felt far away from busy pigeon forge but was right there for things to do. Also close to Publix and krogers. We thought the kitchen was well stocked w cooking items. We brought trash bags, paper towels, dish and laundry pods. There were 4 chairs in kitchen also which I know was a former complaint. It was a fantastic trip. Highly recommend.
The cabin was described as updated, which could not be further from the truth.
The cleaning was poor. The hot tub was filthy. Response to concerns was quick, but it was canned and not genuine. The cabin was in a total state of disrepair. Beds are terrible, there is not a single quality piece of cookware. They left no extra trash bags, appliances were rough and furniture and all pieces were simply in bad shape. It is clear this is a profit center and there is no care put into actually maintaining the cabin. I reported cockroaches and got a response of âOh we will check into thatâ. If owner spent what the weekly rate was to fix it up if May be worth staying at. Very disappointed. If you book, just know it is not any better than a motel.
The location was perfect, it was close to everything but not right in town. House was plenty large enough for my family, 2 adults and 4 teenagers. The outside pool was not even a minute walk, and the inside pool was right across roadway which was nice. (Could swim no matter the weather) The owner response was fast and helpful if you need anything. The house was very clean and had everything you would need. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus. The whole family enjoyed our stay and can not wait to go back.
This property meet all the needs of 4 adults. Had a little issue when we arrived but Samuel help use get through it. He was available when I needed him and that's says a lot. It was a holiday weekend and he was available. Really like that A LOT!!!!! I would stay again with him. Great rooms, everything we need and close to everything. Thanks for letting use stay and relax ON A HOT 4TH WEEKEND... the cabinet was nice and cool and the rub was nice and warm.
