Welcome to the Bourbon Barrel House! This beautiful home is perfect for couples, families and groups. You'll love the spacious layout, gourmet kitchen and amenities that will make you feel at home while you're visiting the adorable Village of Pinehurst! Our home is on a quiet cul-de-sac street in close proximity to The Carolina Hotel, Course No. 2 Clubhouse and The Cradle!

Each room is well appointed and comfortable. Custom shutters on the windows ensure privacy. A cozy fireplace in the living room easily warms up the space with just a flick of a light switch. Sonos speaker system allows you to listen to your favorite music or switch on the television and login to your preferred network using the Firestick, which allows you to access your own Netfilix, Hulu, Amazon Prime or other viewing platforms easily. High speed wifi throughout the house (login instructions available upon arrival).

Enjoy your favorite cocktail at the kitchen island custom constructed from bourbon barrel staves, or relax on the front porch and enjoy a quiet evening in the pines. Need golf clubs? We have two sets available to rent for a small fee (one right-handed and one left-handed set). Please message us prior to your arrival and we'll have the clubs at the house when you arrive.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Tracy (owner) was nice enough to let us check in early. When we got to the house, the house manager “Naomi” (who was there cleaning the house after the previous nights guest had just departed) greeted us at the door while we unloaded our cars before we headed off for a round of golf on Pinehurst #5. Naomi gave me her business card and told me to call if we needed anything or had any questions while we were there. We had everything we needed, no calls were necessary. Thanks for being an excellent host and sharing your immaculate house.

We had a great time in the Pinehurst area. The location of the house and accomodations worked well for our family. The space was well laid out. We unfortunately encountered a few plumbing and electrical issues - a shower head fell off multiple times, outlets did not work in one bedroom, and a couple of outlets did not have covers on them. The house could definitely benefit from a thorough cleaning as we found cobwebs in multiple locations, bugs in dressers, and dog hair on bed comforters and carpets. We made the property owner aware of these issues and they responded promptly.We did a lot of cooking so the well-stocked kitchen was appreciated. The grill on the other hand was a disappointment as it was dirty, rusted out, and full of sludge from old charcoal.

Family Golf Trip

This home is wonderful! The host is great. A repair issue was fixed within a couple of hours!! The location to golf, shopping and parks was perfect. Our only disappointment was that there was barely any yard and the outside deck was wanting for an upgrade.

Wonderful Pinehurst Rental!

Our family booked this property for Easter weekend. The house was very clean and had a great layout with everything we needed! The location was also wonderful a very quick ride to Pinehurst resort. I highly recommend this property and we would book this again in the future.

Golfing Spring Break

Wonderful house with so many amenities. Close to all the golf courses, Pinehurst and Southern Pines. Property owner and manager were extremely responsive when internet went down, had it fixed the next day.

Birthday for the grands

My family and my brothers family arrived for a weekend to celebrate my grand daughters birthday. We had a great time in Carthage and the house in Pinehurst was perfect for all of us. Quiet, scenic, lean and comfortable and very close to great restaurants and shops. Stay here, you will not be disappointed

Perfect location and great house

We entertained clients for the US Open and there were several clients coming in and out daily, Tracy the owner assisted with the house cleaner to have daily cleanings and helped with information about Pinehurst. The house is well decorated, clean and perfect for entertaining clients!

Dream house

The house is everything you could ask for. You will see deers in the backyard when you wake up, the neighborhood is perfect for a night stroll and the view is amazing! Everything is provided for you to make your stay enjoyable. The owner was so accommodating and made our stay stress free. We will definitely be booking here again!

Clean house and nice neighborhood. Only thing I would recommend is tv’s in the bedrooms, and lights for the backyard (think the latter could be resolved with a lightbulb & fan check for the property).

Bourbon Barrell House - Fantastic

Beautiful and spacious home right off Pinehurst #5. Home was clean and had enough room for multiple families. The kitchen is spectacular with a large island and tons of dining space. The bedrooms are large with bathrooms. The location is perfect for a golf trip or trip to Pinehurst Village. It's appx. a 5 min drive to The Cradle and Pro Shop and similar to the Village. I highly recommend this property. The communication with the property manager was fantastic. 5 stars!

Great Stay

This is a very nice house, clean, modern, and spacious. The neighborhood was quiet with lots of trees. The beds were comfortable, furniture nice and in very good condition, and the air conditioning with separate thermostats on each floor worked very well. Tracy replied very quickly to our few questions and was super accommodating with our special request. We would definitely stay here again.
