If you're looking for a 5-star hotel experience but in your own private space, this is it. One of the original 35 cottages built in 1895, The Hale Cottage offers authentic Pinehurst southern charm while providing every modern amenity including brand new beds and top of the line linens.

The cottage has 4 large bedrooms with a total of 8 beds that can comfortably sleep up to 12 (no pull-out couch needed). A large dining room can seat everyone and the outside back patio offers a relaxing place to grill out while enjoying the pleasant Pinehurst evenings.

The cottage is literally steps away from Pinehurst Village's many boutique shops, fine and casual dining restaurants, galleries, and resort amenities. The cottage was completely renovated in 2010 and includes all the comforts you need for your family trip to the area, guys golfing weekend, or ladies getaway.

Was in Pinehurst for a wedding. House was perfect in every way. Location in the village was wonderful. Walkable to everything. House and host were outstanding. King size bed in master was very comfortable. Everyone had a great time which made the wedding even that more enjoyable.

Loved this house!

We were in Pinehurst for a family wedding. This house was perfect for 2 families. The house was spacious plus we took advantage of the nice outdoor patio.The property manager made sure we had everything we needed. The location was ideal for us. It was close to Pinehurst #2 plus we could walk to the shops and restaurants. We will definitely be renting this property again! I highly recommend!

Family trip to Pinehurst

We had a family vacation in Pinehurst over Easter and this was perfect. Location is right in the village, walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Close to walking paths and green space for kids to run. We were within 15 mins of many golf courses which was great as we needed a flexible schedule.

Perfect Pinehurst Stay

I can't wait to return to Pinehurst and this Hale Cottage is one of those reasons! Incredible location in the lovable and small town of Pinehurst, warm home with VERY comfortable pillows and beds. The home is spread out so different guests were able to mingle without being on top of one another. I can't recommend this enough.

The Hale Cottage couldn't of been better for our 5 day golf trip to Pinehurst. We were a group of 4 but the house could have handled several more people and still be spacious. Given it's location in town it proved to be an ideal location for both golf and dinner. The owner of the Cottage was also extremely easy to work with and was communicative and responsive to all of my questions. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone visiting Pinehurst and look forward to coming back again soon.

WONDERFUL Location!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hale Cottage. The location was perfect; in the middle of downtown and walkable to anywhere. We loved being able to pop out our front door and walk next door to the Roast Office for our coffee and breakfast sandwiches. The big dining room table was perfect for late night card games and the sunken living room was great for relaxing after a long day on the golf course. We will definitely be back!

So charming, comfy, and location was perfect

A five star experience from the day I booked this cottage. Our group was attending a conference at the Carolina Hotel and events at #2 clubhouse and Golf Academy. We were right in the middle of it all, and had a short stroll to lunch and dinner in the Village. The Hale cottage is perfect for groups or families- plenty of room, large bathrooms, everything we needed was provided by the owner! Can’t wait to go back…

This house is located right in the Village of Pinehurst less than a minute walk to all of the restaurants and shops in the Village and 15 minutes away from the Pinehurst Clubhouse for Courses 1-5. The cottage is equipped with everything that you need. Communication with the owner was easy and check in and out were easy. I would definitely recommend this house for a family or group needing a 4 bedroom place to stay in Pinehurst.
