Welcome to your mountain retreat in Pioneer! This 3-bedroom, 2-bath retreat with a sleepable bonus room is perfect for families or friend groups seeking relaxation away from the daily grind.

Surrounded by towering pine trees, this home features vaulted ceilings, propane fireplace, Wi-Fi, smart TV, foosball table, fully-stocked kitchen, large deck, and a spacious backyard. Minutes from groceries, gas, golf, wineries, fishing, swimming, and restaurants. Just 40-minutes to Kirkwood Ski Resort.

The space
LIVING/DINING ROOM: Vaulted ceilings/open-concept, Roku Smart TV, luxury leather chairs, propane fireplace, dining table for 6

KITCHEN: Fully equipped, cooking dishes, Brita water filter, drip coffee maker, electric tea kettle, dishware/utensils, toaster, breakfast bar w/ seating. Complimentary coffee/tea (green/black), dish soap, sponges, paper towels, garbage bags.

Great cabin, great stay

Lovely cabin! We had a great stay, and loved the place. Foosball and lounge area downstairs was fun to use, beds were really comfy. Host was very quick to respond, we will be back!

Perfect Hiyse for snowboarders

Very comfortable home in a beautiful setting. An easy drive up to Kirkwood. Would definitely stay here again.

Easy Drive to Kirkwood

We had a great stay in Pioneer. The accommodations were exactly as explained in the description of property and pictures. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure for showers was on point. We had two families with five kids ranging in age between 9 and 15 and everyone had a place to sleep. We chose Pioneer because it is forty-five minutes to an hour away from Kirkwood which made it convenient to ski every day and not deal with the Tahoe traffic. The cabin was very nice and very clean. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, and utensils for us to cook everything we brought. I would recommend bringing some A/V cables for the downstairs TV. We couldn't' find reception for the TV part but we were able to connect our laptop to it and watch our streaming services through it. The host did not provide cables to hook up to our device so just bring your own. The downstairs was a great retreat for the kids to hang out while the adults enjoyed the upstairs and some time to relax. I recommend this cabin if you are looking for room to spread out, less traffic, and a better price point compared to the Kirkwood area. Last thing, the host was very responsive whenever we had a question he would respond in a timely manner.

Property is an excellent family home , well thought out, great floor plan, apples on tree when we were there. House has everything you would need. Comfy beds, birds in forest, fenced yard, run game room or extra bedroom.
