There was no ac-it was extremely hot-had to keep door open and noise all night outside. The room was from the 60s- the carpet was disgusting.

It took me a while to realize that front desk was at Histrion, not a Villa Park There is no staff overnight at Villa Park, neither during the day, except for room cleaning.

Excellent location, family-friendly, at the doorstep to beaches and sports facilities, a marina, restaurants and cafes, shops, close to beautiful views of the sea and the terraced hills, arts & culture venues, Excellent breakfast with high-quality local produce and gourmet regional dishes.Very friendly Reception staff working diligently despite an outdated booking & facilities management system. Clean facilities but in need for refurbishment). Great for a vacation on a budget, not so great for a business traveler due to poor room amenities (e.g. a single plug available, poor wifi, poor desk space).

Gorgeous grounds, beautiful room overlooking the ruins in the courtyard, clean room, free breakfast and a superb staff. The locatio couldn't have been better. There was no room for improvement. Absolutely fabulous hotel.

Apartment good if slightly dated. Good range of shops and facilities in the complex and a 15 minute walk to Piran town which is very nice old town. Main criticism is that you have to pay 20E per day to use a parasol and pair of sunbeds at the hotel pool or lawn - we bought a lilo and laid on the grass.
