Our room, Superior Double Room, was spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff were extremely helpful, even set-up a dining tables for our Party x9, in the Lounge area to accommodate our dog.

Our room, Superior Double, was spacious, well equipped and clean. The Staff were very helpful and efficient, even went to great effort to set up dining tables for our Party x 9, in the Lounge area to accommodate our dog. Overall, we had a great stay in the Hydro hotel.

The room was nice. Just a bit out dated, no fridge, and couldnt figure out the heating. Staff were friendly and place very accommodating for babies and dogs!!! Would highly recommend

Staff are welcoming and provided great and friendly support throughout our stay. While conditions outside were "Baltic",(-6to 8), + snow, accessibility was a challenge uphill. However, once in the door, warmth of staff and heating of Hotel,including room was cuddly. Food and service in bar/ restaurant high standard. Hotel itself is Old.. therefore maybe a bit worn/tired in places, but Staff and Atmosphere make up for that.

The toilet in my room did not flush properly and got blocked, when I did try to flush the chain water came up through the sink plug hole which smelled of sewage and when I ran the tap in the sink water bubbled up through the toilet. I reported this to staff at reception and although they apologised I wasn't offered a change of room and was told that a plumber would be hard to get over the weekend. When I reported it again in the morning was a told that a lot of people had complained about the water that day. No pressure in the shower - water came out as a dribble. Bed was very uncomfortable with springs poking in my back all night. Hotel was uncomfortably hot and generally quite old and run down. Disappointing, glad I only booked one night and won't be staying again.
