GETTING AROUND
We recommend Uber or Lyft to navigate Pittsburgh (or walking, of course!). With its hills, rivers, and bridges, Pittsburgh is one of the most challenging cities to drive inâbut also one of the most scenic!
We spent four nights in Pittsburgh to celebrate my 45th birthday! The house was impeccably clean, well-stocked, and curated. It was located just a block off Butler Street, so there were many great shops and restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend checking out The Nook for breakfast and Morcilla for dinner! Butterjoint was another favorite meal of the weekend.
We are repeat customers although I donât recall knowing or asking for the repeat customer discount. Iâll have to do that next time. The house was perfect.Clean and ready early for us to check in. It is just as in the listing. It is in a very convenient location for us and walking distance to anything we needed. We anticipate being back before the end of the year. Thank you!
Lovely place and excellent location for us! The owner couldnât have been nicer and was really responsive! Had one slight issue and while owner was responsive, there was really nothing that could be done. Not the owners fault for sure. Would still be my absolute first pick if we rented there again! Thanks so much.
Great location! The property was very welcoming and felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed walking everywhere so we didnât have to take the car much. The house was set up so you could do everything as if you were at home. Would stay again!
We arrived at the property and were blown away by its appearance, cleanliness, comfort, and surroundings! By far one of the best places weâve ever stayed through this site or any like it. Everything about it was absolutely charming from the decor to the welcoming scent throughout the home! The only drawback was the parking situation. While we were able to make a spot work, we certainly had trouble initially finding one. There are a few free parking spaces right outside the door, but the alley is so narrow that we were barely able to fit down the road because of a normal sized truck that was parked outside another unit. We tried to use the paid parking nearby, but it was dark and we couldnât locate the kiosk to do so. Driving around the block again, we noticed another car parked outside the unit next door had left. So, we grabbed the spot but then spent the evening wondering if we took a spot from someone who lived there!
Other than slightly inconvenient parking, the place was great and so were the hosts. They always answered any questions in a timely manner, and even gave the ok for a late check out only two hours before the original check out time! They had good recommendations for restaurants and even nicked a coupon for a freebie at a cute local spot! If you need to be in this area, I would highly recommend this rental!
Inside was unique - small but fine for the 2 of us
Furnace not working on our arrival - did not realize until later that night when it got really cold - didnt sleep first night. Chad was quick to respond with space heaters and getting the furnace running. Should probably verify the furnace before every winter rental start.
Parking was very difficult - especially on Saturday nights when apparently outsiders come to Lawrenceville to Party and park in the neighborhood. Ended up damaging my rental car trying to find a space late night eve of departure.
Communication of Garbage days was incorrect both weeks due to the holiday. I moved my Car on Friday after notice both weeks and ended up needing to move it again on Saturday.
This place was perfectly located walking access to some of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh. And it was so, so wonderfully decorated and designed. It gave the old tow house vibe, but with an updated, clean modern twist. I was noting design inspiration for home! đ
What more need I say? The inside is beautiful and the housing manager was quick to help get associated with the area. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
