The only thing nice in the hotel was the cleaning lady! DO NOT TRUST THE PICTURES. The CTM avenue is very busy and noisy and the soundproofing of the hotel is bad you feel like you are actually on the street sleeping.

I LIKE THE CLEAN OF THE PROPERTY VERY CLEAN, I ENJOY THE STAY EVEN WHEN I NEVER GET CONNECTED TO THE WI-FI AND NO ELEVATOR, IT WAS FUN ANY WAY, I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

No frills accommodation at a great price

Great staff, very friendly and inviting. Facility doesn't have a pool or a lounge area. Very basic amenities, no frills at all (as reflected in the price). Location is pretty good. Lots of stairs.....no elevator, so if you're forgetful, remember that. The hot water was non existent and there was no water pressure.

Room door seems unsafe/ lock ready to fall off

This hotel is very close to the beach and 5th ave tourist spot, 👍👍👍GREAT. The room door is too flimsy and the lock could at any minutes notice fall off the room door. The child could have easily kick this door in, no security safe in room. I book this hotel but actually didn’t physically stay there, I saw the door and that was enough for me

Closer to beach and short walk to restaurant and entertainment..every day construction starting at 8 am..cleaning lady just gives u towel..and makes the bed..no cleaning..room was okay..not very dark..hard to sleep..air co ditioner was okay ..front desk very helpful

La ubicación del hotel muy buena pero no se compara en lo que dice su descripción, se ve muy maltratado y sucio, para decir que fue construido en 2017 se ve mucho más viejo. Demasiado ruido por parte del personal, como si no hubiese gente descansando temprano y muy mala limpieza del baño principalmente

The bed was the hardest most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on. On the other hand the water was nice and hot and the room was clean. Although when our room was cleaned all of our luggage was moved and messed with. I don’t believe anyone was looking through our things or took anything but I would prefer my stuff to be left alone.

Very bad Hotel. No window in our room, Mold in the walls and ceiling. Bathroom with wet ceiling and rusty taps, Towel broke. Noisy air conditioner. We arrived at 2 am because our airplane was super late. We left at 8 am to search for another hotel. Don`t trust this pictures.

Basic but good value

This place is modern and in a great location. Just far enough away from all the action but still close enough to walk in and get amongst it or head up to the quieter beaches north of Playa. I wouldn’t recommend staying in the ground floor due to some noise from people returning at night ( we asked to be moved - which we were without hesitation ). The room was as expected - basic and clean. The common area is a little underdeveloped and limited furnishings in your room meaning it’s a place pretty much a place to sleep and that’s about it.

Select this hotel.

Hotel Select is just at the north end of 5th avenue, close to the beaches. We were able to walk to grocery stores within 20 minutes.

New basic hotel...not comfortable

Our arrival was unpleasant because the font desk did not have our reservation. After a while the situation was sorted. A "please help us" email was sent to Expedia.ca but to my dismay it was never acknowledged. Shame on Expedia! The hotel is brand-new but it is VERY basic. Furthermore it was built using the worst possible low-quality supplies. The location was perfect for us. We knew the neighborhood as our best friend lives 20 meters from this hotel. Bed is VERY firm. Pillows (only 2) are small and overstuffed. A/C is effective but the air is aimed at the bed. We did not sleep well. No English spoken by reception. We did not feel unsafe but this hotel has NO safety features.
