The Space:
Welcome to Your Playacar Home Base

This two-story townhome in guard-gated Playacar Phase 2 gives your group of up to 8 people room to breathe. The neighborhood feels safe enough for evening walks through jungle pathways, yet you're just 10 minutes on foot from the energy of 5th Avenue's restaurants, bars, and beach access.

The Space You'll Actually Use

Three bedrooms mean nobody's fighting over sleeping arrangements:
- Upstairs king bedroom with private bathroom and balcony access
- Upstairs bedroom with two full beds and ensuite bathroom
- Downstairs twin bedroom (perfect for kids)

The kitchen has everything you need if you want to make breakfast before heading out or prepare easy dinners after long beach days. A dining table seats six comfortably when your group wants to eat together instead of always going out.

The private back patio gets morning sun, grab coffee out here before the day starts. Upstairs terrace catches breezes in the afternoon. Both give you options to spread out when not everyone wants to do the same thing.

What Makes This Work for Families
- Full washer and dryer means you pack lighter and handle sandy beach towels easily. Three full bathrooms (two ensuite) mean less waiting around in the morning.
- Free parking at the property if you rent a car for exploring beyond Playa.

The Playacar Advantage
Security guards at the neighborhood entrance check everyone coming in. Residents walk their dogs here at night. The Hard Rock golf course sits across the street. Paseo del Carmen mall has groceries and restaurants within a few minutes' walk when you don't feel like going all the way to 5th Avenue.

You're positioned to do the big Riviera Maya experiences, Tulum ruins, cenote swimming, snorkeling trips, while staying somewhere that feels more like a neighborhood than a resort strip.

The townhome is located in the Playamar townhome complex inside of Playacar Phase 2, a family-friendly area in the heart of Playa del Carmen. You’ll have:
- Access to a community pool and common areas
- A 10-min walk to 5th Avenue where you’ll find fantastic shops, restaurants, cafes, and nightlife
- Vibrant shopping malls nearby like Paseo del Carmen (the closest), Quinta Alégria, and the shops at Calle Corazón with loads of designer and chain stores, boutiques and restaurants.
- The nearest grocery store, Chedraui is 2.3 km |1.4 mi from the home
- Hard Rock Golf Club in the neighborhood
- Nearby Playacar beach and beach clubs
- Guard-gated residential community

Getting Around:
The townhome is about 59 km or 37 miles from the Cancun International Airport (CUN) and is located in the Playamar complex inside Phase 2 of Playacar. In order to enter Playacar residential area, you'll need wristbands that you'll collect at the Playacar office. We will send the information on how to access before check in.

There’s a parking space on the premises and when driving into town, you can park and pay at the parking meters. We recommend having a car as it's the easiest way to move around and visit the area. If you don't have a car you can rent a bike, take a taxi, or a ‘Colectivo’ (shared-ride van) to get you where you need to go. The Colective stops is at the Chedraui grocery store (2.3 km | 1.4 mi) from the townhome.

Other Things to Note:
All guests staying in Playacar are required to wear a wristband at all times. The cost is $10 MXN per wristband, and they must be collected upon arrival at the Playacar Phase II Condominium Reception. Please note that payment is only accepted via debit or credit card.

Wi-Fi, bed linens, and beach and bath towels are provided free during your stay.

We provide a few bath essentials like toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner & body wash, but please note that these are not replenished during your stay. If you need more, you’ll need to purchase more.

There is no daily housekeeping but if you’d like the place cleaned, it can be arranged for an additional fee. Please message us at least 24 hours in advance and by 5 pm the day before the service.

Electricity is included for short-term stays (2-27 nights). Please help us save energy by using the AC wisely and keeping the temperature at 25°C. Electricity is not included for long-term rentals of 28 nights or more and will be charged as consumed based on a $6 MXN (pesos) fee per KW.

Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation.

A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met.

If traveling with infants or toddlers, you can rent a pack-n-play with the mattress and a high chair if needed at $5 USD per item per night.

HOUSE RULES
- Travelers must be at least 21 years of age or older to book.
- No smoking of any kind (tobacco or cannabis) is allowed at the property and the use of any recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will incur a $300 penalty.
- No parties or events are permitted, illegal activity is prohibited, and excessive noise won't be tolerated. No loud music after 10 pm. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
- No more guests than those listed in your reservation are allowed. No tent or other structures may be set up on the ground of the property.
- Renters agree to cover any charge related to damages that occurred during their stay or cover necessary extra-cleaning charges if such is needed after their stay.
- Renters may be required to provide a government ID on the day of checking in or during their stay.
- Please avoid moving furniture.
- Pets are not allowed on the premises.
- Pool and common area regulations and hours must be respected.
- Playacar Administration enforces the following traffic fines:
1. Leaving cars on roads without information: $1,000
2. Wrong-way driving: $10,000
3. Speeding: $1,500
4. Animal abuse/wildlife damage: $5,000
5. Minors under 16 driving: $5,000
6. Not wearing helmets: $1,000
7. Driving on sidewalks: $1,000

Interaction with Guests:
You can check yourself in by accessing the keys in the lockbox with the code. Check-in instructions, how to obtain your wristbands for entry into the Playacar neighborhood, and the lockbox code will be provided to you within 24 hours of your arrival.
