Review of Blue Bunny Cottage â Near Plymouth, MA
I stayed at the Blue Bunny Cottage just outside of Boston for a girlsâ business trip, and overall it was a mixed experience.
The biggest issue was that when we arrived, there was no heat in the cottage. We ended up using the oven to warm the space for the first night, and only received space heaters the next day. The actual heating system didnât work until the last day of our stay, which was disappointing given the chilly weather.
The bathroom is extremely small â my mom even called it a âBarbie bathroomâ â and while we only had three people, it still felt very tight. I definitely wouldnât recommend this place for more than two guests if comfort is a priority.
On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, and the location near the beach was great. Itâs a short walk or drive, and parking was easy. The cottage was a little sandy and somewhat dusty, but since itâs close to the beach, we expected that. A heads-up: the driveway is sandy, so be careful when getting in and out of your car, especially if you have a rental.
Communication with the property management was okay but not great. It took time to get the heating situation resolved, which made the first part of our stay uncomfortable.
In short, this could be a cute, cozy stay for one or two people in warmer months, but I wouldnât recommend it for larger families or ones with small children or cold-weather stays unless the heating situation is improved.
