I had a great (short) stay at Carmo Country (in Villa Mirante). Mónica and Diogo are wonderful hosts. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The space was clean. I also enjoyed the breakfast experience. If I return to the island I would stay there again.

Excellent alternative to Ponta Delgada

Extremely pleasant stay with great room, gardens, incredible breakfast and even better personalized attention by Diogo. Excellent location a few minutes away from Sete Cidades and the lakes, Ginetes and other top attractions in the island. Just 15 minutes away from Ponta Delgada and the airport in a beautiful small village. A great find.
