The Neighborhood: POOLE QUAY - Poole Quay is an exciting, ever-changing blend of maritime activity and a focal point for a wide range of entertainment and leisure pursuits. Pleasure craft offer trips direct from the Quay to Brownsea Island , Sandbanks and beyond, whilst anglers can book fishing trips at the Fisherman`s Quay . If you simply want to promenade along the waterfront past the visitors` marina and have a meal and a drink, then the Quayside and Old Town areas are packed with excellent restaurants, pubs and winebars offering huge variety and choice. From the Quay, shoppers can stroll up the pedestrianized High Street, with its wide range of retail outlets and facilities. Safe Blue Flag sandy beaches at Sandbanks, Branksome and Alum Chines are just 15 minutes away by car and the natural beauty of The New Forest is approximately 30 minutes distance away. A short trip on the Sandbanks chain ferry offers the option of even more beautiful beaches skirted by sand dunes and walks in the National Trust protected Purbeck Hills.

Our stay at riva
A lovely apartment with excellent views of poole quay and brownsea island, made even better as the weather was nice too! Nicely furnished and very clean, just the sofas a little uncomfortable, we will definitely return as overall a lovely stay! And high praise for Quay Holidays who are always very helpful
Very impressive and beautifully furnished apartment fully equipped with everything we needed. Outstanding views of Poole Harbour from every room. Numbering in the carpark was not very clear and there was no signage to and from the apartment.
We have stayed on a quay seafront property previously. This was the best property so far. The views were amazing and everything in the apartment was modern and good quality. Had a small problem on departure day a power cut had taken all the lifts down and this was the fourth floor. This caused a few problems but overall had a great holiday. Will consider again for next year.
