Villa Ingrid with large pool near Porec

This beautiful villa with private pool is located in a small and quite place called Rakovci close to Porec in Istria, Croatia.
Villa Ingrid is an oasis for relaxation, surrounded by unspoiled Istrian nature and decorated with attention to every detail.

Villa Ingrid has been built with high standards in a combination of Istrian autochthonous architecture and modern design with great attention to details. It can accommodate 8 persons with a living area of 146 m2 all very neatly designed.

The outdoor area features a large 40 m2 swimming pool surrounded by stone deck with sun loungers, outdoor shower and parasol. On large paved terrace, at any time of the day, you can find shade, relax and enjoy your meals and drinks. You can spend hours chilling on the garden sofa and enjoy evenings in the outdoor dining area with a large table for 8 persons and a summer kitchen with large open barbecue place.

On the ground floor there is a beautiful open space consisting of a living room with an open fire place, kitchen and dining area. There is one bedroom with double bed and one separate bathroom on the ground floor. The living room and the bedroom have direct access to the large, covered terrace and the garden.

On the first floor there are three bedrooms (two with king-size beds and one with two single beds convertible into king-size) and two bathrooms (one with a bath and one en suite with a shower). Two of the bedrooms have access to the terrace with a sea view. Baby cot can be made available on request at no extra charge.

The villa is air conditioned and has broadband WiFi Internet access. The watering system keeps the grass nice and green during the summer. The parking place is provided within the gates.

The villa is surrounded by olive groves, lavender fields, vineyards and private homes/villas, which makes it perfect for a holiday in a quiet and private surrounding, but it is still close to all the attractions that Istria offers. The distance to the nearest supermarket is a couple of minute drive, the first restaurant is at 2-minute walk (Restoran Idila in Rakovci), the beautiful beaches are 10-minute drive in Limski Kanal (Lim Fjord), Zelena Laguna and Plava Laguna in Porec. Another beautiful and close beach Lanterna in Tar is again at around 15 km away. Very close to the villa are the two largest water parks (aquaparks) in Croatia - Istralandia in Novigrad and Aquacolors in Porec.

The villa is located 30-minute drive from all the natural and cultural sights of Istria such as the Arena (the famous amphitheater in Pula), town of Rovinj the jewel of Istria, the island Brioni as well as from the Pula airport.

Istria is well known for its beautiful beaches, historical heritage, warm people, good wines and fantastic gastronomical offer.

Do not miss to taste Istrian famous wines and local specialties - truffles, cheese, olive oil. Choose one of the excellent tasting tours with a few stops at well-known local cheese, wine, truffle and brandy producers. For wine lovers do not miss to taste wines from famous Istrian wine cellars: Kozlovic, Fakin, Coronica, Pilato...

The protected landscape of the Lim Fjord, one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Istria, is 10 minute drive from the villa Ingrid. Because of the combination of fresh and seawater, the waters of the canal are rich in fish and are extremely well suited to shell growing. Do not miss to taste the freshest shells in one of the restaurants in Lim Fjord.

Add a bit od adrenaline to your holiday and have fun in aquaparks - Acquacolors in Porec and Istralandia in Novigrad.

If you are a movie lover, do not miss Pula Film Festival, which takes place in the Roman amphitheater, and the Motovun Film Festival which takes place in the squares and streets of this medieval town in Central Istria.

For unforgettable musical experience there are are music events in Grožnjan and Rovinj Jazz Festival.
