The cabin features 1 bedroom with a King bed, a sleeping loft with a twin bed and a pull out sofa in the living room along with a large refrigerator and fully-stocked kitchen (dishes, appliances, utensils and spices) so you can cook from the comfort of home. Spring usually lasts from March - June when the snow begins to melt and the plants begin to flower. Average highs temps range from 51-65 degrees F. Summer is July, August and September when the snow on the mountains is gone and the area is vibrant with greenery and sunny days. This is the driest season when the lavender farms are in bloom and the average high temperature is 66-69 degrees. October is the main month for autumn when the leaves change into stunning yellows and reds, the air becomes crisp and cool with high temps around 57 and the first couple freezing days make their appearance along with a popular Crab Festival. November - February brings winter weather with a high temperature range of 46-50 and overnight lows consistently in the 30's. The area averages 36 inches of rain a year and 3 inches of snow.

Whatever season you choose, the cabin is the perfect gateway to the Wonderment of the Olympic Peninsula with friendly, involved hosts happy to help you plan your time and advise you on all the area has to offer. Convenient, clean, comfortable
This was our first time to the Pacific Northwest. We stayed here at the suggestion of friends and it was just lovely. The cabin has several little touches that made it a perfect place for our little family. I am glad we went to the cabin before purchasing groceries so we could see what was already there. Our one 'not so great' thing was how close the cabin is to the highway. We did hear cars early in the morning, so it's not quite as secluded as we thought. Don't let that deter you from staying. The staff was friendly upon check-in and the cabin was clean. Thanks for helping make our first visit memorable!

Nice and cozy
Very nice cabin a short drive to Olympic NP. Bedroom & family room nice size. Secluded back deck. A little road noise but quiet at night. Couldn’t see road, just hear during day but most of our time was spent at the park. Kitchen small/compact but sufficient. I’d stay here again.

Enjoyed our cabin!
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was a little closer to the highway than expected, despite the woods, but the road noise wasn’t too bad. We saw local deer grazing blackberries in the yard and loved the little path over to the campground and taking advantage of the greenhouse/garden onsite. We wish we could’ve stayed longer! Only other thing I’d mention - it said in listing there is a Keurig, however we did not see one there. That being said, there was loose coffee provided for the coffee pot, so we didn’t go without!

Perfect getaway!
The cabin was sweet and nicely tucked away in the trees. So cozy and inviting. The firepit was such a highlight after a day at the beach.

A little slice of perfection
The cabin was even better in person than the pictures! Every inch of the space was well thought through. We had a family of four and it suited us just fine. We made all our meals and found everything we needed in the kitchen (def well stocked)! The grill was a bonus and the bed was so dang comfortable! We loved heading out to Hoh, Hurricane Ridge, and Salt Creek tide pools - we can’t wait to come back!

Great base camp.
The cabin is exactly as described and provided a great sorta central spot to reach out from. The local info provided at check in was also much appreciated. Would stay here again.

Cute & comfy cabin!
Very cute, cozy, and clean. Tucked away, you feel lots of privacy with the surrounding trees. All the amenities of home. Great water pressure in the shower. Very soft king bed. Just a short drive to all the major places of interest. One side of the property does back up to the highway, but it didn't bother us or keep us awake. The concrete counters in the kitchen are cool, but need a deep clean and then seal it or epoxy over it for easy future cleaning. If you're wanting to unplug and relax, this is perfect. If you want high speed internet, this isn't the place for you.

Northwest family meet up.
Great setting. Road noise is audible when outside but didn’t hear a thing when inside. The cabin was spotlessly clean and well appointed. My daughter and her family were staying at the campground so it was super easy for them to hang out with us. Our grandchildren even enjoyed an overnight in the loft. So much fun since we hadn’t seen them in 4 months!
