GENTLE BREEZE is Close to Beach in POC

Classic POC home with decks and porches galore! Walking Distance to Kingfisher Beach and the Fishing Pier as well as Boggy Nature Park. WiFi and Direct TV are some of the amenities this multi-level bay home offers although there are plenty of outdoor spaces to keep you occupied. Nautically decorated with a country flare, this charming home has plenty of beds and private rooms to make for a comfortable stay for both large and small groups of vacationers. The main floor boasts two bedrooms with the kitchen and living room with access to its namesake, the fully enclosed furnished porch where you will enjoy the Gentle Breeze coming off Matagorda Bay. The top floor has one private bedroom with a window unit for more AC plus a loft great for the kids or other guests with four beds in a shared area. Did we mention decks? The brand new main floor uncovered deck is perfect for entertaining as well so bring the lawn chairs and get ready to relax and soak in the sun at this one of a kind vacation spot. Plenty of parking both in front of and under the Polk Ave side deck AND lot to the West side of the rental makes this a go-to property for those with boats, trailers or a side by side.

This home is located next door to another one of our properties called Siren Cove if you want to keep the company close and rent both homes.

This Unit is Not Pet Friendly

Rental includes bed and bath linens, hand soap, bar soap, dishwashing soap and dishwasher detergent (where applicable). Linens are limited to those on hand. Many properties have washers and dryers, plus there are convenient laundry facilities in Port O'Connor. For longer stays, you can request an optional housekeeping/laundry service. GUESTS SHOULD BRING WITH THEM THE FOLLOWING: personal toiletries, beach towels, food, and paper towels, if desired. Provided linens cannot be removed or used outside the property.

The property was older than we expected but it had everything that we needed. There were some issues but we reported that immediately to the office management and they documented it and came and looked. The only thing that I think could be changed is the beds in the single rooms, they are a little short and my husband was too tall for it.

Excellent place to stay- My only recommendation is to not have the thermostat on pre-set programming. Everyday when we returned to the house the house temp was 75degrees. I understand the concept but no one wants to come into a hot house after work. My recommendation is to remove the pre-programming settings when the rental is active with clients. Other than this the rental was excellent and we will be returning customers.

My only complaint is
this is 10 person occupancy and there is only 1 very small bathroom inside the house, the second bathroom is OUTSIDE & DOWNSTAIRS, this was just little in convenient.

Great property

We enjoyed our stay and there was plenty of room. The rental had everything we needed. It was super hot during the day in the upstairs rooms, but fine at night. A small window unit would possibly fix this issue.

Reasonable

The propery was clean and had many great qualities. The distance to the beach is a short drive. The beach is clean and not crowded, it was perfect for small children because the water isnt deep. I am rating overall 3 stars because the property had a few things that need addressing. The dishwasher has a strong odor you can smell from the kitchen and the house has one ac unit so the downstairs is a little warm during the day, the upstairs is very warm. At night its freezing cold. Overall it was reasonably priced and served its purpose for a comfortable short stay.

Spring break mini getaway

My kids and I had a great time. My kids loved the idea of staying in a home away from home. They loved the upstairs room set up where they got to have their own little beds. The location close the king fisher beach was great. Kids liked the fact the we could walk to the house from the beach. Thank you for the stay.
