The Space:

At Salt Water and Sand it's summer all year long! With high powered jets and heating up to 105 degrees, use our 7-seater hot tub to set the preferences to your liking, and just relax. When your ready to explore the beach, enjoy the exclusive private walkout to your personal beach retreat. Go snorkeling, fishing, boating & swimming, as you are only steps away from the sea. Don't forget to take our complimentary 5x beach seats, sun ninja tent, umbrellas, boogie boards, and a multitude of water/outdoor games and equipment located in the carport closet on the left side of the home. Let the oceanfront become your pool! During the day, enjoy the wonderous blue ocean views. In the night, look up to explore some of the clearest views of the stars and the galaxy. Use our private hot/cold shower with spray nozzle to wash out the sand, and once you are ready, head inside to enjoy your home away from home.



Upon entrance of the home, immediately access all 3 floors of the home with our full-service Elevator. With 3 Master Bedrooms w/ King beds, 2 bunk beds, 1 twin trundle bed, and a pull-out sofa, this enchanting 2388 sq. ft property provides a cozy retreat for 13 guests. All bedrooms at our property have a personal oceanfront view! All of your guest will thoroughly enjoy the experience of ocean views from each of their rooms. The 3 full bathrooms are equipped with showers and hair dryers for added convenience, with an additional half-bath on the 3rd floor living room. Our balcony decks accommodate outdoor seating for up to 24 guests. Watch the sunrise or sunset while in your rocking chair sipping the hot/cold drink of your choice. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner while basking in the glorious ocean view with our outdoor 6 seater table. Better yet, use the new Weber Genesis 3-burner gas grill on the 3rd floor balcony to serve all three, or to cook that fresh catch of the day from the ocean. Our 2 oceanfront balconies offer some of the widest and most expansive ocean views along northern shoreline that you will see at Cape San Blas.



Our property includes 1 Gig of high-speed internet and excellent indoor/outdoor Wi-Fi coverage. Stay connected throughout your vacation and stream movies and TV in 4K with 120+ channels included with our complimentary YouTube TV subscription across all rooms. Use our Roku enabled TV's to stream any other app that you prefer with your personal subscription. With powerful/fast internet, you can work remotely and reliably. When you are not working, a host of entertainment options are waiting for you to explore, including a new Simpsons and Capcom Arcade on the 3rd floor!

This property was very clean and well maintained. Host has taken special care to make sure all the things needed to have a stress free vacation has been provided. Location was perfect for relaxing and watching the gorgeous sunrise/sunsets, but also close enough to Port St. Joe or Apalachicola for shopping, excellent seafood restaurants and the cutest shops with the small town hospitality!

Wonderful Accomodations!

We loved having such close access to the beach and wonderful view from both decks. Great for family - with 3.5 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms - we were comfortable with all the space. Our host, Cherise, was very helpful before and during the trip, she checked on our comfort. Highly recommend!

Family vacation

This house was just perfect for our family vacation. It was clean, easy to find and right on the beach. Cherise was easy to communicate with and checked in to be sure our stay was going well. The beds were comfortable and the baby items were helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and the downtown area was quaint and easy to get to. I would definitely recommend this house for any family wanting a beach vacation.

Family getaway

We had a lovely family trip with our college kids. House had everything we needed and the elevator came in handy with the luggage and groceries. Beds were super comfortable! Wish the beach was bigger at the house, but Salina’s is down the street and St Joseph’s state park for other options. We saw dolphins daily which was so fun!

Nice house

Overall, we had a nice stay. Pros: Booking and check-in were easy. Host was responsive to isues. The overall location is good, with a nice view of the beach, despite being set back between 2 houses. Furnishings are comfortable. Plenty of beach chairs and beach supplies. Cons: Access to the beach is difficult. There is a nice, tarp-like walkway to the beach, but from the walkway down to the beach is a 2.5-foot drop. You have to be able to jump down or slide down on the sand, and getting up is much harder because there's nothing to hold onto. I had to crawl up. I am physically fit - just not tall enough to step up that high on sand. This would be impossible for anyone with any mobility issues. On several occasions, we used the neighbor's stairs when we had our hands full. The wooden walkway in the picture has been washed away/damaged. The beach has been badly damaged from the hurricane on this stretch in particular. There is a lot of decaying wood along the water line and several feet into the water. This is nature, but something to be aware of. The kitchen could have been cleaner. I had to rewash the dishes and clean the counters.There is a 125 charge per pet. This was not evident on booking. However, it appears this has now been fixed on the online booking portal, but the charge appears to be for only one pet. We had 2, which I was upfront about to the host, so the additional 250 for a 4-night stay was a surprise. Instructions for fireplace and storage closet are needed.
