The Osceola House at Indian Pass

Is it time to unwind and leave the gridlock and stress behind? If so, you have found just the right vacation destination at Indian Pass. Osceola House is our brand new beach home, just three houses away from beach access through the sand dunes to the Gulf of Mexico. We feel that our beach is the most beautiful beach you could ever hope to find. The quaint neighborhood of Indian Pass is a delight.

Wildlife is truly abundant. Countless varieties of birds take to the skies while turtles, fox and bobcat can be seen prowling the landscape. This special place offers world class fishing and a boat ramp is just 7/10 of a mile down the road. Typically, excellent weather, friendly residents, a world class beach and two charming coastal towns (Apalachicola to the East and Port St. Joe to the West) make for the perfect, restful vacation. Great seafood is abundant whether you catch it yourself, buy retail or take the opportunity to eat out at one of the many fine restaurants in the area. At the end of the road, the Indian Pass Raw bar offers oysters any way you like them along with karaoke and front porch dancing. Kayaking is huge on the forgotten coast and horse back riding on the beach is available right down the road.

Opportunities for fun are limitless. So come on over our way and enjoy some sun and fun at the beach!

Just as pictured! Husband and I and our 2 fur kids traveled from Ohio to visit the area...we had a great week relaxing and walking to the beach (short walk). Very quiet neighborhood, the house is nice and open, plenty of space. We chose this area because of the pet friendly beaches, also close to St. George Island for more shops and restaurants. Thank you Brad, we hope to return for another stay!

My family visits this area every year. It’s a special place. Mr Johnson provided a clean and spacious home for us to enjoy the area and spend precious time together. The home is surrounded by trees and plants. There is a lot of space underneath the house. The beach is a short walk and the boat ramp is a short drive. If available, we will be booking this house again next year.

Beach access at end of street was alittle more like a nature walk. Floors were swept, not mopped. Loved the deck and screened porch. House was pet friendly. A couch instead of 3 love seat would’ve help me get to 4 1/2 stars.

Pleasant stay at the Osceola House.. our first visit to Indian Pass. Brad, the owner was very responsive to a couple of small issues (toaster did not function and lock box on front door was difficult). Easy walk to beach and plenty of supplies ..ie beach chairs and umbrellas!

Steps from the “pet friendly” beach. Our golden doodles were in heaven. The house is well positioned for quiet evenings to relax and soak in the sea air. Everyone in the area were beyond nice. The accommodations were near perfect. Recommend a new queen mattress in the secondary bedroom. Otherwise great!

Excellent House

The house was clean and equipped with anything we could need. There’s a short walk to get to the beach access but when we had our beach stuff we found it easier to drive to the second beach access so we didn’t have to lug it with us. You may be able to park at the first one but it seemed like it was private property so we just went to the second which is only 2 or 3 houses further. There was a sandbar that shows at low tide right there too which is cool.

Everything was as advertised

The property is well kept, in a residential area, just a short walk to a pet-friendly beach. It had three bedrooms and two bathrooms, all good-sized, plus kitchen, and living room. Nice porch, too. Everything was as advertised, and the owner was always pleasant and responsive. We can highly recommend this property. It was so nice that it was pet friendly and with the beach being pet-friendly too - well that helped us really enjoy the trip. Thanks!

We love Indian Pass,it’s our paradise We’ve been coming here since 2012. This was a great house all around. Easy check in and good communication with the owners. We took the wagon to the beach one day but it’s in need of repairs. The handle was tied on with kite string,but we managed lolThank you for sharing your home with us.A wonderful piece of paradise!

Very well appointed

The Osceola House was fully supplied with everything you could have asked for. Plenty of kitchen ware, dishes and utensils. There were a couple of things that needed improvement. The A/C felt stuffy after arrival and we did a little exploring. The filter was chocked full but we were able to change it helped ourselves. That clearly helped the A/C work better. The other vents in the home also need cleaning. The floors throughout the house And under the beds . could have had a deep A little attention to those areas and it would have been perfect. Beautiful part of Floridac as well.
