Our room was located in the main house. We stayed during Memorial Day weekend, it was peaceful even though the inn was fully booked. We didn't have issues finding a parking spot. It's right across from the ocean, so it was great to go for walks. But walking to town might take longer and there was no sidewalk for that (however, you could ride a bike or drive, it was just a few minutes away). The premises were clean, and I enjoyed the small touches that you don't necessarily find elsewhere, like almond creamer and makeup removal towels. All the staff was nice and helpful. I would stay at The Beach House Inn again.

Checking was 4 miles away from the Inn, and then we drove 4 miles back through heavy traffic in Kennebunkport. No staff was present at the Inn. Older building in need of update. Two window air conditioners, water stained ceilings , running toilets and dirty carpets, all distracted from a good stay!

Had to check in 20 minutes away (with traffic). No one on site to welcome us. One key a problem if 2 people. Carpet dirty, noisy pipes, bathroom door did not shut. Location was on water and a big porch overlook which was nice. Warning: long 36 minute walk to town and restaurants.

Rooms are in need of repair. Bathroom shelving rusted and glass broken. Dresser handle missing. Not what we expected. Open windows with screens missing on second floor. Landscaping unkempt. I was very disappointed.

Great location.. outdated rooms

Upon arrival they gave us a room located in the basement of the property into the room smelled explain the musty and had water stains on the drop ceiling we immediately went to the front desk and requested a new room we were then given a room on the third floor it was a bit outdated but much better than the "dungeon room " .. room was clean but the carpet was stained if you are looking for a location with a view of the ocean you don't care about a room this is your place but for the money I think you can find something nicer
