Room very dark due to poor lighting. Had chicken red Thai curry in the restaurant however there was large chucks of aubergine which were quite bitter. I have never had a Thai dish with that and wasn’t expecting it. There was an odour from the floor too which wasn’t pleasant.

It all looks ok from the lobby but our room was not nice. Overlooking the roof and the railway line it had no air con and was super hot at night. The bathroom was so brightly lit it was like a torture chamber in Guantanamo Bay. No toilet brush 😱 and no working extractor fan. the walls were paper thin so we heard everything when our neighbours had 3am visitors. The restaurant was fully booked but in the end they relented and let us eat in the bar. The food was ok actually and the staff were sweet. The gym didn’t open until 8.30am in the morning. So not able to use it.
