Stay in Skeabost (not Portree)

Pros: The staff and service people were excellent. The food was superb meal. Great chef and crew. The owner even kicked in to wash dishes on a busy night
Cons: We hope the owners are successful and able to improve the exterior parts of hotel that need maintenance. This did not detract from our visit.
Location: Dunvegan castle nearby and good central location from which to tour both north and south parts of Skye.
Out of the hustle-bustle of Portree by about six miles, this small hotel on a small bay with golf and fishing available was our best so far in Scotland.
