Located on the first floor of a classic Victorian building designed by Thomas Ellis Owen, this beach front apartment has an open plan kitchen/living/dining room which is perfect for couples and families alike. There are two double bedrooms each with storage and the master has it`s own ensuite. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer and a large fridge freezer. The highlight of this property is the private balcony which overlooks the seafront and South Parade Pier. You can watch the ships coming into and out of the busy harbour and on a clear day see all the way across to the Isle of Wight. Please note that this balcony has low railings and children must be supervised at all times.
Parking restrictions are in force 24 hours. If you are bringing a car please message us in advance with the make, colour and registration details and we can arrange this online for the duration of your stay.

This property is in a amazing location with the sea front and South Parade Pier literally on your door step and in less than a few minutes walk you are in central Southsea where all the bars and restaurants are. You are also just a short walk away from all Southsea`s attractions including Canoe Lake, Clarence Pier, Model Village and the Rose Gardens. In the other direction along the seafront there is Southsea Castle, The D-Day Story, Blue Reef Aquarium as well as many other seaside attractions that are all a short walk away. The Southsea Splash Pool, Southsea Common and tennis courts are all close by also.
If shopping is your thing there are plenty of popular independent shops and boutiques in the areas of Palmerston Road, Marmion Road and Albert Road.
Gunwharf Quays offers many designer retail outlets and Commercial Road offers high street retailers.

The project will involve the erection of scaffolding, which is scheduled to commence on Monday 1st June and is expected to take approximately 7–10 days to complete Following completion of the scaffolding installation, the contractor will begin the external re-decoration works during the week commencing 8th June. The works are being carried out as part of the planned maintenance programme for the property and will include preparation, repairs where necessary, and repainting of the external areas of the building.
During the course of the works, residents may experience some temporary inconvenience, including:
• Noise associated with scaffolding erection and decorating works • Contractors and access equipment operating around the building • Temporary restrictions to certain external areas whilst works are underway We kindly request that residents: • Keep windows and balcony doors closed where works are taking place nearby • Remove or suitably protect any personal belongings located on balconies or external areas where applicable • Take extra care when moving around scaffolded or restricted areas • The contractor has been instructed to keep disruption to a minimum and to ensure that all working areas are maintained in a safe and tidy condition throughout the project. Lovely clean apartment. Really comfy bed!The view was fantastic. Saw I. O. W ferries, freighters and lots of cruise ships. There was also a Co-op almost next door.Had a lovely 10 nights here.

Amazing view and good communication
Property was very cozy and listing was accurate. Great view of the water from the living room and one of the bedrooms. Communication was great and made check in super easy (be sure to look at the pictures they send for where to find the lockbox). Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful English Getaway
The flat is modern, clean, well-kept, and comfortable. Its location in Southsea, close to the South Parade Pier is convenient, plus if offers a great view of the sea. It's walking distance to a number of attractions, namely the Southsea Castle, D-Day Story Museum, and Clarence Pier. It was easy to take Uber to visit other attractions outside Southsea. There's a small grocery store and several restaurants nearby. If you have mobility issues, you should know that while the property is listed as a "first floor flat," you actually need to climb four sets of stairs (two outdoors from the gate and two indoors within the apartment building) to get to the first floor! In the U.S., a first-floor or ground-floor apartment means you'll walk in the front door without having to climb any stairs. Not so in this case because the entrance is at the back, so you're basically going around the building to enter it. This was the only thing that surprised us. Everything else was great. We loved the laid-back atmosphere of Portsmouth and the English coastal beauty. It's a great antidote to London's frenetic pace. The people are warm and friendly. We had a wonderful time!
