MUCH better deals in Prague

As a hotel it is a nice place, with comfortable rooms, big bathrooms, etc. The good side: friendly staff, a nice indoor atrium, pool is decent (12 m x 6 m) for an early morning swim (too crowded by 7:30am), close to public transportation. The bad side: every additional item is awfully expensive (e.g. 27 euros per day for internet, 10 dollars if you want to connect only for 15 minutes). Food at the hotel is also very expensive (compared with similar food in town). The surroundings are NOT a nice place for a walk at night and getting back to the hotel after 10pm on foot is boderline scary. The view from my room was horrendous (industrial stuff) especially for a city like Prague. After spending a week in Prague I can assure anybody that there are plenty of better places to stay in Prague that have the same star rating.

A very Pleasant stay

Pros: Its Location, ambience, conceirge, shopping mall, room service, restaurant for breakfast
Cons: Nothing specific
Location: VERY CONVENIENTLY LOCATED NEAR ALL PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEMS AND WE USED THEM EXTENSIVELY
mY WIFE mANJU, DAUGHTER MONITA AND SELF jUGAL STAYED IN THE hOTEL FROM 27TH TILL 29TH IN THE HOTEL AND HAD A VERY PLEASANT STAY. ROOMS WERE VERY WELL LAID OUT, HAD SEPERATE TOILET WHICH ENABLED US TO GET READY IN TIME TO CATCH UP VARIOU TOURS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES. BUFFET FOR BREAKFAST WAS VERY WELL LAID OUT AND OFFERED MANY OPTIONS. SPECIALMENTION OF CONCEIRGE SERVICES WHICH WERE VERY DETAILED , INFORMATIVE AND TOLD US ALL WHAT WAS REQUIRED TO TAKE FULL VALUE FOR MONEY. WE COULD SEE PRAHA VERY WELL AND ENJOYED SEEING IT . TRANSPORT SYSTEM OF CITY IS VERY EFFICIENT, SAFE AND TIMELY AND WE UTILISED IT THANKS TO LOCATION OF HOTEL. I WILL RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ALL.

Top-notch Accommodations!

Pros: The front desk staff was extremely helpful and able to communicate effectively.
Location: This hotel is near river. It is near Florenc metro station and trams. We walked to Old Town and back many times.
My sisters and elderly mother vacationed in Prague. This hotel was the perfect fit for us. We were all able to stay in one room together with two queen-sized beds with space to move around. The breakfast buffet was extensive, all your favorites, fresh fruit, omelets, breads and pastries, even gluten-free options. We loved that Cafe was open for 24 hours to accommodate our late touring adventures. Check out the Cloud 9 rooftop bar for scenic views of the city. This hotel has all the perks of first class accommodations; modern, clean, connected and well staffed.

Good hotel however front desk staff not very efficient

Cons: No free Internet
Hotel breakfast was good. Sumptuous buffet. Proximity to old town town square was also good. 20 mins walk. Didn't use subway. Very clean room and bed was great. Comfortable. Front desk had issues though. Long lines and there was a mix up with the breakfast (i.e. whether or not it was included) It was eventually resolved however after giving me a runaround. Would recommend this hotel though. Nice and big and great lounge.

Good location, good service and worth the money

Pros: Free Internet
The hotel is right by the river and the old town is within walking distance. You are away from the crowd but still very close to the center. I recommend this hotel, it is worth the price.

Sky lounge is very nice

Didn't stay in this hotel, but visited its bar on 9th floor. Good view of city even it wasn't the best. But it is still breath taking. It has a wrap around out door viewing deck. Interior is gorgeous. Wait Staff is very friendly and professional. Drinks are kind of old fashioned and in big protion.

Very nice stay, friendly and informative staff, good restaurants

We had a 4 night stay in July 09 with a nice clean room, and comfortable bed. The halls were quiet and we slept quite well. We had a nice view of the atrium. The Hotel is located just outside of the Old Town area, and very close to public transportation, the subway system and streetcars. Also located near a small mall with groceries, etc. We walked to the Old Town area, as well as riding. The staff helped us with tickets, and directions. My husband and I have special dietary needs and they were very helpful in that area, as well. The meals were rather pricey, but not unexpected, since this is a tourist location, and the money exchange rates are not great. They food was tasty, with more that ample servings. We tried several of the different restaurants on location. Overall we enjoyed the stay, and Prague was such an interesting city.

What a disappointment

At $40 internet a day and breakfast for $45 a person, this hotel gives the worst impression of a beautiful city. It is a considerable walk from the good part of the city so getting to Prague Castle and Charles Bridge is a pain... Don't venture the wrong direction or you will end up in a shadier area of Prague. The price was astronomical and the overall stay was less than mediocre. It was necessary to change rooms twice because of construction. There are cheaper hotels in better areas with more courteous service. Don't waste your money here.

Poor reception, wrong location for tourists, old worn down rooms, friendlymanager

The hotel is in the process of renovation and most rooms are old and worn down. At check in the inexperienced clerk at first did not accept my trave agent e-mail as proof of reservation insisted on voucher which we did not receive from trave agent. Wanted $* extra to give a better newly renovated room. Breakfast was not included in the price and wanted $* per person per day for breakfast. The Hotel is far from the tourist areas and it is in an unfriendly area after dark if one used public tarnsporation. When I complaind next day to the manager he appologized and offered a better room, gave a free breakfast and a a fruit basket was delivered to the room.
