Very pleasant stay

Right at old town center, only 2 minutes to clock tower and main square. Chaming old mansion, classical decoration, specious room. Only one thing not up to 5 star hotel standard, they do not have luggage's room. The luggages are just put at the connor of recieption hall. And on our 2nd day, the maid opened the window and did not close it. The window is behind the curtain and we did see it. It was very cold during the night. We only found out the window was ope. The next morning. Otherwise, it could be a perfect stay.

As you would expect the property is old but in the most part well maintained and clean. There were some features that did not work such as the fridge in the room which we reported to the staff. Air conditioning was very noisy. The staff were all polite and aided me and my wife with any questions we had. The location of the hotel is excellent.

Patrick was AMAZING! He parked our 2 cars, took care of our luggage & had my 2 yr old granddaughter laughing & giving him high fives. He gaves us i formation going sightseeing & restaurants including the hotel. We saw him for 3 days. No one could be more polight, friendly & welcoming. The hotel was very pretty * we were able to walk all over.

This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Very close to the town square, but just far enough away to not have all the tourists right outside your door. The desk, bar and restaurant staff are all wonderful, especially our bartender, Christian! The breakfast buffet was great each morning. Our room was large and beautiful. Two small complaint/suggestions, (and this just applies to rm 316) 1) The design of the tub/shower is not very good. Very difficult to impossible to be able to stand under the water stream, and very easy for the water to end up outside the tub. 2) The A/C is next to useless. Fortunately, temps were very pleasant during our April stay, and we could open the window in the evening to cool the room down. Could not leave it open all night... a little too noisy from the late night drinking songs for that! I would certainly choose this hotel again if ever returning to Prague. No question!

I believe... in all my nearly 50 years on this earth... this was the nicest hotel room I've ever stayed in. And the people were even better. Prague is a sleeping giant and this hotel is the titan of the giants. Stay here with confidence.
