Lovely hotel in a quiet street but close to public transport and shopping centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

The hotel clerk at the front desk was not very welcoming. He didnt offer us a welcome drink and only said it was a welcome drink (champagne) when I saw it and asked about it. We did not receive any room upgrades or any vip offered even when we asked. He sounded annoyed that other vip expedia members checked in before us. I asked for a free bottle of champagne as noted on expedia for vip at that hotel and he reluctantly gave it to us. He did not provide any information about a beer spa located inside the hotel, breakfast time or anything else. He was not forthcoming with much of the basic information upon checking in. At the breakfast the fried eggs were cold, and clearly been lying in a plate for people to take without being heated. Since this is a 5 star hotel we expected more, but got a service of a 3.5 star hotel.
