Bas-du-Fort can also be explored on foot. Your walks will take you to discover the coastline and, for the more daring, to Fort Fleur d'Épée (a remarkable place full of history). Close to all amenities (bars, restaurants, pharmacy, shopping center, etc.), the place is also served by bus, although renting a car is strongly recommended. Night owls will appreciate the liveliness of the Marina for entertainment and dining every day and until very late. You will also be less than 10 minutes from the town center of Le Gosier, the University and the Acte Memorial. Sports and water activities are easily accessible in the area, especially on the beaches of nearby hotels. From Gosier, it is easy and rather quick to explore the 4 corners of the island, or even take the boat to discover the other territories of the archipelago.
