It would have been helpful if guests were informed ahead of time that there would be no one available at this location to check them in during certain hours. I ended up waiting more than 30 minutes for an employee to return from their break. I even tried calling the property, but after waiting 20 minutes on the phone, no one answered. I have previously stayed at this property without any issues, so this was disappointing. If I owned this property, I would train a member of housekeeping or another staff member to assist guests at the front desk whenever the main receptionist is on break. This would speed up customer service and help ensure that no one leaves frustrated. While I was waiting, several guests approached me with questions about the Wi-Fi code and other concerns. Fortunately, I still had the code from my previous stay and was able to help them, even though I am not an employee.
