Note: bedrooms are on the 2nd story and the bathroom is on the first floor. This has been an issue for a couple of people over the last 4 years. We have included a picture of the stairs for your convenience.
The cottage was very clean, it had everything we needed, the location is great. Communication with the host was quick, check in/out was easy. I would recommend this rental to anyone staying in the area.
We stayed for two nights and wish we were staying more! Located just minutes from Thunder Cove Beach. Checkin was easy and the rooms were spacious, clean and had A/C which was nice on the hot nights. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed and it was amazing to be able to wash and dry wet bathsuits and clothing in the machines. The street is quiet and lovely to walk on. We would definitely rent again!
Todd is very connected in aiding to accommodate a smooth stay. I had no issues personally. My parents thought the upstairs was a little warm and wished there was another bathroom. Itâs nice to come home after sightseeing and make dinner in a quiet neighborhood. We stayed 8 days and were sad to leave PEI. Thank you Todd for being warm and welcoming to our needs.
We didnât have a long stay but everything was great! Took the kids to the beach close by and they had so much fun. House had everything we needed and close to a lot of places.
The property is beautifully kept and easily accessible from Charlottetown and Confederation Bridge. It is beautiful countryside and the shore is just a short walk away. We needed to message the host a couple of times (minor things) and they were quick to respond and resolve the issues.
Beautifully appointed cottage with all the travellers needs in a magnificent area â€ïž. My family had an amazing time at this cottage !
Very close and central to all the things we lovel
most about PEI. The Dunes gardens are spectacular everytime we visit and of course the Malpeque oysters are the best!
We had a great, quiet stay. The house is very sweet and was cozy one the one rainy day we spent primarily inside. It's very close to all the Green Gables things but away from the hustle and bustle. I felt like we got the true island experience, not just the touristy one.
We really enjoyed this house and location. Close to excellent seafood restaurants and a short drive from the national park, Charlottetown, and the Confederation Bridge. Very quiet neighborhood. Clean and comfortable. Would note to bring your own drip coffee, there is a coffee maker but no filters or coffee
Nice property in a rural setting within short driving distance to the beach. It was quite hot when I was there, and the owner was kind enough to get a second air conditioner for the second bedroom. There is no air conditioning in the 3rd bedroom. The 3 bedrooms are upstairs and since heat rises, the 3rd bedroom can be hot. As for the main floor with kitchen and dinning room, it was quite warm as well. The main floor needs air conditioning of some sort. Other than that, the place is quite nice and the owner receptive and responsive to our concerns.
We attended my daughter's graduation in Slemon Park near Summerside in early July. We had a wonderful stay. The property was lovely. I stayed in the bedroom with the deck and it was amazing. Everything is so clean and a beautiful property. We were so close to Summerside and to Thunder Cove for a wonderful walk on the ocean. I will definitely recommend to my friends. And I would definitely stay again when I return to PEI.
Lovely stay in this home. Very clean, very spacious. We stayed in the midst of a Maritime heat warning so it was quite warm and humid. So fun to have satellite tv with the Canadian in the Copa America!!
We took a short (5 day) family vacation to PEI and loved this place. We have two dogs and the owner allowed both which many places donât allow a second dog. Everything we needed was there. We have stayed on this area of PEI before and have always liked it. It was a really hot few days so having air conditioning only in one room made for some hot nights but fans were available. It is only a short walk to a beach but it is a small and rocky beach. Good walk with the dogs but we drove 5 minutes to a Provincial Park beach which was great and not crowded. The one small bathroom on the main floor presented some challenges but we knew that up front and made it work. Would recommend and hope to be back again.
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. Itâs located on a quiet road in the countryside. It was spotless on arrival and had most of the cooking utilities needed for our stay However we would suggest a few improvements for future travellers. A welcome package would have been greatly appreciated and helpful, which would include how garbage/recycling/bottling works on this island, pertinent info on the location (groceries, emergency number, hospital etc). There are also no mop in the house which would have been useful due to the pinkish sand marks we would leave on the floor after a weekâs stay. We also found that a pantry or an empty cupboard would have been better to store our food Place mats and coasters would have been useful as well to prevent any damages to the furnitures. The lack of screens on the windows prevented us to open them for fresh air. With having said this, curtains in all rooms would have been greatly appreciated to provide privacy. But overall our stay was great!
Nice place to stay with extended family and explore the island. House was clean and comfortable. Only minor inconvenience was only one small bathroom located on ground floor, which made getting everyone ready a bit of a bottleneck, but we made it work.
Overall a great stay.
Rented this property to stay with my partner and our yellow lab while attending our daughters soccer nationals. Great place to relax outside of game times and only a short drive to Summerside. Great location to walk our dog and beautiful area. Would rent again.
