We booked the ocean front Shearwater resort. I emailed and had a phone conversation to confirm we would not be moved to a non ocean front resort as I had seen others in reviews had been. When we arrived to check in at sister resort Ko’a Kea, then go to our oceanfront we were advised we had been moved. The facility and room were nice but not ocean front. We were refunded 1 night stay but then charged again so now having to deal with getting double charges reversed. Front desk and management were understandable of our frustration and kind, but when you are booking ocean front it should be ocean front.

The view from this unit was stunning. Waking up to sunrise view from bed was absolutely magical. An easy hike down to a beautiful, secluded beach is just steps away.
