This is a really nice property. Clean and comfortable bed. It is not located directly on the beach but a short walk to it . The view from the terraces describe the name of the hotel - the marvelous blue ocean in the distance is quite a vista. I stayed in a queen suite which was a generous size and a large outdoor terrace to lounge in. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are 2 outdoor pools on the upper levels which are immaculate and a nice size. I did not rent a car for my short stay but would have in order to explore other areas (if you are comfortable driving on left side of road) I did attend the famous Thursday night Fish fry which was basically a party with food vendors, bars, music , DJ , lots of shopping. It was lively and the MC was energetic and entertaining. Not many places to sit down at the venue but didnt bother me. There is a restaurant with bar on site and a smaller all day breakfast and gelato place. The beach is easily walkable to Grace Bay area .

I had an amazing stay at this place. The price was fair and reasonable for the amount of space and amenities onsite. I stayed in a studio unit because I was a solo traveler. I had everything I needed. There were plenty of toiletries, sheets, and towels within the unit. For convenience, there was also a washer and dryer. Cleaning service was great though they come at varying times during the day. The staff were nice as well. They safely kept my stuffs after check-out since my flight was way later in the day. I liked the convenience around. There were plenty of food places (I went to at least 5-6 different ones) and the beach near-by. I budgeted to eat out. But my unit came with a kitchen which I did not use, so I couldn’t tell you if there are actually equipped with necessary utensils (did not check for any). The nearest supermarket was a little bit of a walk (at least 20 min) but 5 min drive; so I took a taxi (costed me $20… would not recommend). I would suggest to make ride arrangements prior, which I did, but the trip to the supermarket was unplanned because I had forgotten a few things at home. I went by the pools a couple of times and they were well maintained. Honestly, I would stay there again.

Didn’t get my room until 4:30 & it wasn’t properly cleaned. When I called the front desk the lady told me the cleaners had already left(don’t know how that’s possible). Then she essentially said I had to just be in a dirty room and there’s nothing she can do… she didn’t even try to help. It was disgusting

The property itself needs some attention and updating. When we arrived the shower floor looked dirty so we went and got cleaning supplies and a brush to do it ourselves since the room had just been cleaned. The jacuzzi looked as if it needed to be cleaned or retiled so never got in it. Things in the room just kept falling apart like the toilet paper holder or the towel racks to the point we just stopped putting it back together and left it on the window. The smoke alarm went off twice. Once while we were asleep at 7 am and stayed on for about 20 mins. Horrible sound and the other for about 5 mins. The bed was horrible to sleep in. The mattress kept sinking in at the headboard so we'd wake up with a stiff neck every morning. We had to put the cushions from the couch under the mattress to keep the mattress from sinking into the frame. The washing machine kept breaking after each use. They had to come reset the machine since the red button would kept blinking saying the lid was locked. The gym equipment needs some attention. Only have 2 45 plates so could use some variety and the machines looked like something from a 70s workout video. The location is about 10 mins away from everything so you definitely need to have a rental car. The grocery store is about 7 mins away and there are some good food spots close by. Go to MaMa's Island Kitchen. Jerk chicken and festival were so good. For a long stay it came in handy having kitchen and washer & dryer.

Hello. My recent stay at the Hotel La Vista Azul was fantastic. Very quiet and extremely clean throughout the whole grounds. There are 2 main accesses to the beaches, within a 5+ minute walk, to Smiths Reef for snorkeling and long walks on Grace Bay beach. There are also 4 bar and grill establishments for eating out close by. The Turtle Marina is right there as well for all your fishing, parasailing and snorkeling tours adventures.

The room was fine. Clean and large but the view was to an alley and not the "courtyard" as advertised. The nearest back is 8 minutes away. The restaurant and ice cream/ all day breakfast were five and the staff working there friendly and customer oriented. The reception staff was professional but she can't across as someone who didn't not want to be there. Perhaps my imagination. The taxi (multiple passengers to different hotels) from the airport was $20 and the hotel was a 10 minute downhill walk to the marina, convenient for me.

Do not ever eat at the restaurant in the hotel. You will get food poisoning that can kill you. They will even argue with you when they get your order wrong instead of fixing it. They will literary poison you so that you don’t get to enjoy anything on your vacation and end up spending unnecessary money treating yourself at the hospital or clinic. You’ll be laid out and stuck in your room for 4 to 5 days and come back still sick and weak. This is serious. Customer service is 1 point out of 10. The front desk or check in person will literally shout at you when you ask for directions. Extremely rude. You’ll be told that is how she is. Her mood is always like that. Will definitely not be recommending this hotel. Very bad experience indeed. They couldn’t even give me back my hospital expenses but only the refund for the food after much explanation and insistence.

Lowlights: this property lacks elevators that are much needed in certain parts of the property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will to help with any needs you may have. The room itself was very spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. We only stayed one night so we did not go to the pool but from photos it did look nice. Checkout was easy and quick and staff help us with taxi services to our next locations. This hotel is big and it was almost empty but they don’t let you in until last minutes ( 4 PM )!!!!, you get there 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM have to leave all your belongings in the office and wonder around in the hit weather which there is nothing close, they get your number to call if room is ready before 4:00 PM just for Show!!!

This is a nice hotel in a quiet location near Turtle Cove marina. There are a few restaurants nearby within walking distance. The beach access is 8 minutes but the beach isn't as nice as Grace Bay. Be aware that taxi rides into Grace Bay are began $20 and $25 for 2 riders. Most taxi services only accept cash. The swimming pool is nice, cold, but nice. The hotel is in the process of remodeling and reutilizing some of its office spaces. Overall, the experience was great, but if you are aiming more when it comes from a resort like beach access or amenities more than a kitchen or pool, you might need to reconsider this location. But, if you are looking for a quiet location, with a nice clean room, then this is your spot.
