Great hotel, close to beach and restaurants

My husband and I came to this hotel with our 21 month old and we all had a blast. 5 min walk to the beach, hotel staff were all very helpful and accommodating to our needs, room was always clean and breakfast provided each morning which was great considering food on the island is very expensive. Great value for the price!

Nice hotel close to diving and the beach

Pros: The hotel was clean, neat, attractively appointed and was close to the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available at the beach with an attendant.
Cons: For the price, this resort walks the line. I couldn't think of anything that needed improvement.
Location: Dive Provo just opposite the entrance, Grace Bay Gourmet across the road, $3 kids cones at Giggles Ice Cream, Salt Mills, and Regent Street areas.
Ports of Call is a nice "resort" that is comparable to a well kept, clean holiday inn in the states. It has a pool and rooms are medium sized with no balcony. The rooms are clean, neat and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The provided breakfast gives you a good start to the day without having to go outside the resort for food - food is expensive here. The beach is a three minute walk from the hotel and there are beach chairs and umbrellas specifically for Ports of Call guests. We went in June, and never had a problem getting a place to sit or an umbrella for shade - and we always came out to the beach in the afternoon! We came here to go diving and this was ideal for us as Dive Provo is right across the street. We've been diving since 1989 and this operation is the best! Everything you need is in walking distance from the hotel. We ate quite a few meals out of Grace bay Gourmet supermarket which averaged us around $27/meal for two versus $50-$77/meal for two at area restaurants... and it's right across the road from Ports of Call. If you are looking for a nice and economical place to stay, this is the place!

Very nice and clean

Location: You're about a 5min walk from the beach, which is easy. There are a few places to eat and shop in the resort area and a good grocery store nearby.
The hotel was very comfortable-my room was on the ground floor, west side. I had a small walk-out patio with a café table and chairs overlooking the pool, which was really nice. They are renovating the rooms and mine was very comfortable. It was clean, bright and had a little sitting area with couch, table and another café table and chairs. The bathroom was very clean and modern. My only complaints were that the complimentary breakfast left a bit to be desired-not much in the way of selection or variety, and the room had a coffee maker but no supplies-coffee, sugar, spoons. All of the staff I encountered were very pleasant and accommodating. I would definitely stay there again.

GREAT hotel!!!

Pros: The staff is wonderful, accommodations modern, and the location perfect.
Location: The beach is a two minute walk away from the hotel, across the street from the only supermarket in town, and a short walk from several restaurants.
My daughter and I love this hotel, the friendly and helpful staff, and the perfect location. Ports of Call is in the heart of Providenciales and nearby the beaches, shopping area, restaurants, nightlife, and everything you need to make your stay wonderful.

Hotel was very clean and the staff was excellent.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Poor breakfast
The staff was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for events and dining. The room was very clean and in a perfect location for beach access and shopping. There is a grocery store right across the street which made it easy for us to save a little money on food for lunch. I recommend Jimmy's dive bar and grill which is also just across the street (just keep an eye on your final bill, the employees seem to like to raise your bill, but Jimmy always took care of it#. If you are going to rent a bicycle, dont rent from Caicos wheels #overpriced junk#, instead walk down the street a little bit to Saltmills Plaza and see Doug #the owner of Caicos Cyclery). His bikes are only a few dollars more for the day and are in fantastic condition, you won't regret it! A great locals place to eat is "Sailing Paradise" in Blue Hills area. The resort front desk staff and the security guard "Ceasar" hooked us up and got us a free shuttle to eat there. Also, highly recommend trying snorkeling with "Dive Provo" in the plaza across the street. Just unbelievable!!! Overall, a fantastic, relaxing vacation! Will def stay here again!
