Clean hotel, clean room, but missing small touches

The front desk people were nice. Breakfast was okay, limited selection, but they did not have ice in the centerpiece of the juice Pitcher like they should, yogurt was room temp, there was only cheap styrofoam coffee cups not the usual cups I'm used to everywhere else. Some small touches would be very nice but overall good polite staff, clean lobby, clean room... I wonder if the rooms were recently redone, because there was two places that seemed like a desk or some kind of table should have been there or was there there was outlets on the wall that were up too high to be regular for the floor but that'd be perfect for just above a desk lol

This was my first time at this location. I stay in Orem 3-4 times per year. The Room was comfortable, staff was friendly, clean and tidy. The breakfast was adequate but not as nice as hotels in comparable price ranges in the area.

The one really gross thing about the room was the bathtub. The water wouldn’t drain very well and after looking at it the drain is full of hair… so gross. Plus, I found 2 ice cream pint containers in the small fridge.

The room was freezing when we got there, but we shut off the air and it warmed up. We enjoyed the room, but there was no signal on the TV. The room phone didn't work. Slept good.

Always great for a quick overnight stay.

I have been fortunate enough to book rooms here very last minute. Great value for the price, especially if all you need is a place to sleep for a few hours. Staff is welcoming and helpful -

Go somewhere else

The elevator made grinding noises and shook so bad, we never rode it again for fear of our lives. We witnessed other guests getting off the elevator feeling the same way. The front desk staff were unaccomodating and unfriendly. We called and spoke with front desk about our tv not working and no one even attempted to look at it. The clock in the pool was an hour behind, so we werent aware we were in there past the time the pool closed, and the hotel staff were so unfriendly and mean when they came in to clean. The hot tub capacity is 3, making it very difficult for guests to share the hot tub. The water pressure in our shower head was non existant. There was hair in our bed and all over the toilet seat upon arrival, and one of the sinks wouldnt drain. The hall carpets were unkempt and dirty. The continental breakfast was basic, at best, and breakfast time ends unreasonably early. For how old and unkempt the building was, it would have been nice to at least have a friendly face at the front desk and a clean room, but this La Quinta didnt offer even that much. My daughter had brand new white shoes with white soles, that she had never worn anywhere else but the hotel room, and the bottom of her shoes were black before we left.

In the entryway of the room there is a sizeable lip in the transition from the tile to the laminate wood floors. Looks like they tried to cover it with some sort of caulking but looks messy and unprofessional. We tripped on it several times. Also walking around in bare feet left us with dirty feet that came off on the white sheets. Made me question the cleanliness of everything else. Stayed in a double room and the Jack and Jill style bathroom was very convenient. Didn't see the staff much but they were polite and helpful. Mmm
