Were to begin...Our stay at Casa Kuaa was not what any vacationer would expect. The service at check in was rushed and not friendly. Although we were helped to our room with a gorgeous view, welcome staff did not give us our welcome bracelets, or tell us about the bar/ cafe or how to use the remotes for the AC. The first night the electricity and plumbing went out from about 2:20am to 2:20pm, a total of 12 hours in extreme humidity and heat. Staff did not ask anyone how they were doing, or offer water or ice or even tell guests about what was going on or what was being worked on. I was so thankful to have access to two pools and of course the beach and a friendly staff at the cafe/bar. On our last night there, the electricity and plumbing did go out again, but for only 30 minutes. Again, no communication from hotel staff. On both occasions, I did notice that the surrounding hotels DID have power. The day before we left we did make a request to reserve a taxi back to Oaxaca City and staff failed to reserve the taxi for us. Overall, Casa Kuaa has terrible service, terrible communication, fantastic views and beaches and a very friendly cafe/ bar staff. Think twice before you make your reservation.

Casa Qua KUAA is undeniably beautiful and has a calm, stylish vibe. When we first arrived, we were given a very small room — more like a box — but thankfully we were able to upgrade to a more spacious option. The upgraded room was much better, with a large, modern bathroom, and we appreciated how soundproof everything felt. It’s oceanfront, though there’s a wide sandy patch you have to cross to get to the water. One thing to note: they don’t offer beach towels, so make sure to bring your own or be ready to buy some locally. There’s no TV, which may be a plus if you’re looking to fully unplug. One of our favorite parts was the presence of adorable cats on site — they were sweet and made the stay even more charming. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but we likely wouldn’t return. After our stay, we found other nearby options that offered more amenities and luxury for either the same price or just a little more, making them a better value. Still, Casa Qua KUAA is a solid choice for a one-time getaway of a couple days — especially if you appreciate a peaceful atmosphere and a cute, low-key environment.

Casa Kuaa was great, but to get to it omg, the street is a dead-end and it Floods, there’s no other way to get to it other than taking your shoes off and walking thru the dirty water! Rooms are small

The property is in a great location. Walkable to many restaurants. The staff is great. The hotel is very pretty. The restaurant has great breakfast. My recommendations would be to keep the pool clean. The water was murky so we didn’t get in . Also the bedroom we stayed need better lighting in the bathroom over the sink. The towels could use updating. The room was very clean. We would stay here again .

A Beautiful Stay at Casa Kuaa We had a fantastic time during our stay at Casa Kuaa! The property is stunning, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The owners were often on-site and always responsive to any requests, which made us feel well taken care of. A special shoutout to Miguel at the beach bar—his hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. The entire staff was warm and attentive throughout our visit. The location is also perfect—just a short walk to a variety of great restaurants and bars. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

It a shame -

Experience less than perfect! AC doesn’t work!!! And nor the manager or the personal tried to solve it for the first 2 nights - after I complained a lot they changed the ac for the last night 33% of my trip! Additionally The hotel doesn’t have electric generator and 2 out of the 3 nights there was no electricity so no fans/ and they never communicated it. The location is perfect , the hotel is gorgeous but would never stay here again The only helpful person was the operations manager - he got us a. Extension cord so we could plug the fans to the front desk (when there was no power) Finally the hotel decided my compensation was 80 usd - really??? For almost 700 usd of the 2 nights we couldn’t sleep

The only good thing about the property is that you have the ocean close. I paid 306 dollars thinking i will have basic needs as AC and water to flush , shower or wash hands. Well power was out for like 5 hours and we had no ac and or water. I would not recommend. No water was offered. Restaurant staff slow and had to be chasing them to order. I think the owners need to stay in their own hotel to see what's lacking. No TV and safe wasn't working. The only good thing is that they feed stray cats which i love ❤️. Also it is true about the construction noise. Good thing i only booked for one night and after the whole fiasco I moved to another hotel.

The hotel was beautiful and beach front. They also had fabulous amenities included for no extra cost like lounge chairs, umbrellas, tanning beds, and dining tables right on the beach. The employees were kind and helpful. You are also welcomed with a beer or nonalcoholic drink.

The construction began every morning at around 6:30am and then the music in the local bars plays until around midnight. So we didn't get much rest. I would avoid staying here until the construction is done.

My family and I stayed here March 22-27 and absolutely loved it. The hotel is beautiful - our room was right beside one of the pools and the beach bar. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and we felt very safe. Walking distance to lots of great restaurants and shops, but off the main street so was quiet. Would definitely come back again!
