OceanFront, Deluxe 3 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom, and bonus bunk beds, 2nd Floor Oasis, Beautiful Views!
The Sonoran Sun Resort is one of the newer Resorts on Sandy Beach, just built in 2005. This 2nd floor condo has GORGEOUS views of Sandy beach and the Ocean's Sea of Cortez. Size: 1,785 sq. ft. "Plus 389 Sq. ft. patio"
Being only one flight up makes for easy and quick access to the pool and beach, including those trips back and forth to replenish the cooler, grab the goggles you may have forgot for the kiddos, or anything else you need. After you pass the pool, you are immediately on the beach. The beach has tide shifts to present tide pools during certain times of the day and high tides during other times. The beach is lined with Lounge Chairs with covered Palapas, to use at your leisure. The pool area is complete with a large (seasonally heated) adult pool and two other large pools, both with access to the swim up bar, which offers great food and the best bartenders in town! There are also two excellent hot tubs. The Sonoran Sun is truly a Boutique Resort with only 228 condos.

This condo is beautifully upgraded with granite countertops, travertine floors, beautiful wood cabinets and a lot of furniture. There is a King Bed in each Bedroom, 3 King Beds total, 3 Bathrooms (1-1 Full Bath, jet tub and 2-3/4 baths), and a bonus room with bunk beds. The condo sleeps 8, 3-Kings, and 1 set of bunk beds, plus there is a pullout couch! So everyone, including the kids, are comfortable. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and is well equipped for cooking. There is also an open grill area available next to the resort. There is a restaurant at the Sonoran Sun, as well as the many other fantastic restaurants just a quick drive away.

The condo has a dedicated wi-fi and there is a business center and full fitness center available for you as well. The convenience store has almost everything that you may have forgotten, or would like to re-stock. My personal favorite is the cozy, and very reasonable, Spa at the resort, which offer Pedicures, Manicures, Massages, Facials and other services!

Nice family condo

Condo is as described, plenty of room and well stocked. Property is nice and close to beach. One of the resort pools was closed entire stay, which did make the other crowded with families. Instructions for check in was slightly incorrect and asking to extend reservation was not worth price charged.

Could have been better

The resort itself was nice. Unit wasnt the cleanest and had to wash bedding to be able to sleep in the beds. Master bathroom rug was upside down since the top part was dirtiest so had to wash that too. Hand towel in Master bathroom looked like a rag and shower had noticeable mold growning in jets. Was having trouble accessing the VRBO messages so took a bit to reach the property owner to obtain the access code to the unit since front desk was unable to provide. The water heater was off and finally figured that out the following morning. Old bedding and linens with broken furniture in the master bedroom. Livingroom had no curtains for night time privacy.

Everything was really nice about this condo.. Easy access, the rooms were a good size, location was great, hassel free environment. All the amenities were available to us. Loved how the condo was decorated. Some obvious broken items throughout the home but thats to be expected to see on a rental. Overall, i would stay here again any time.

Litte things need fixing

Overall the stay was great. There were a few things that could have made it better. The dishwasher did not work. There were no trash bags, just an empty box. The master bath shower only had very, very hot water. Overall our stay was pleasant.

This was a great place. The bunk beds though were not in a second floor but almost in a closet with no windows. Couldn’t even open the door. Also no hot water or would take forever to warm up. Bring your own kitchen dish towels and dish rags, couldn’t find any. The water jug was empty when we got to the room. Thought there would be some water in it, but we did bring enough of our own. Did have coolers and some outdoor stuff available which was very nice!

Wonderful location

We all enjoyed our stay ! The second story patio was huge with plenty of room to watch sunsets and dolphins. We had three couples and each had their own bedroom with private bathroom. Such a great unit. THANKS!!

This ocean front condo is beautiful! The photos do not do it justice, it is very clean, the rooms are big and comfy. My favorite area was the balcony in the morning, afternoon and evening! Pool area is also very clean and well kept, drinks are delicious as well as Emiliano’s Restaurant. I love that not just anyone can drive into the resort and how friendly everyone is. Will definitely book again!

Definitely coming back!

The location was great and the property offered more than we expected. We were able to cook and do laundry here, which is good to know for future, longer stays. The proximity to the water and restaurants and everything we wanted was perfect. This was a scouting trip for future vacations and I don't think we could have done any better. Thank you!
