3 bedroom condominium on the 4th floor of the Sonoran Sea Resort.

Large screen TV in the main living area, a comfortable dining area also. Nicely decorated comes with granite countertops, a large patio with furnishings, and views that are outstanding.

The Sonoran Sea has been around long enough for Rocky Point regulars to find it one of their favorites. Pools along the ocean side make a great environment for adults or kids. A children's play zone, multiple BBQ grills, and on-site Ramon's Restaurant make for a complete Resort experience.

We have stayed at Sonoran Sea Resort in the past. Our previous visits were good and so were the other condos. This time our condo was outdated and falling apart. The roof in the kitchen had a hole that leaked into the kitchen each morning, we had to place pots just to catch the water. The towel racks were hanging out of the wall, patio furniture broken, refrigerator shelving and drawers broken. We reported it and no one ever came to fix any of it. Not sure why this specific condo wasn’t maintained because other condors we’ve rented at this resort we’re fine. I feel like they need to repair and update this specific unit.

Unit needs maintenance & updates

I have visited this property many times over the past 15 years, staying in numerous units. Unit 401E needs a lot of attention. It needs fresh paint and maintenance. The TVs are probably 20 years old. It’s not a big deal, but charging these rates should accompany a unit that shows the owners care.

Worst Vrbo experience ever at the sonoran sea rm 401

Additional fees were charged at check in that were above the list price. The furniture was old and ripped, beds were disgusting, linens were dirty and soiled, the microwave was broken and beeped every 30 seconds. The antiquated stove did not work. Sewage came up out of the floor drain in the guest bathroom whenever the shower was used. The sewage flooded the bathroom, hallway and some of the kitchen. The resort sent maintenance up to fix the issue but had no staff to clean the mess. I was told cleaning staff could not enter the room after check in because of “covid”. The resort simply expected my family to live in the stench for the 4days we were there. I msgd the owner through Vrbo requesting a phone call and was simply sent a msg the next day stating that they were working on the issues. The televisions in the guest rooms did not work. Rm 401 should not be on this site.
