Unit needs updating

Sonoran Sea is a great resort, in a great location. Unfortunately, this unit has much of the original deco and equipment and could really use some updates. The kitchen didn’t have a lot to offer and the stove really needs to be replaced. The guest bathroom smelled bad all weekend due to the trap not being cleaned well. The AC worked well but none of the rooms had ceiling fans. The patio is big and has a great view but the patio fan didn’t work and the furniture was pretty rusty and dirty. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but likely would not select this unit again.

The room needs a lot of changes. Furniture is worn out, the bed has a dip towards the middle. Hair dryer didn’t work. The blankets and pillows were dirty. I would never stay there again.

Disgusting/ un sanitary

Master bedroom cover had rust, patio furniture had rust, bathroom drain smelled horrible, stove did not work, no ceiling fans, screen door did it work. Both security screen and front door lock jammed, no LED tv’s, property management team inspected the room as well. Horrible horrible horrible

Not up to par

We have rented units in the Sonoran Sea before and have had really nice places. This one though was not as expected. The stove doesn’t work well and the kitchen is very basic-limited and mismatched pieces. I hoarded one plastic tumbler for the whole time because that’s pretty much all there was for a larger drinking cup. The TV had three channels only and were not “smart” so we used a computer to watch movies at night. We had friends in another unit and they paid $40 per night LESS for a beautiful and fully stocked unit. Ours was disappointing. I talked to management and was told there are certain requirements for each unit and that they would contact the owners. As a renter I expect consistently with units and price and this place was was way under par. The pools and beach are wonderful and I highly recommend the area for families. I will stay at Sonoran Sea again, but will now do more work ahead of time. I didn’t realize that a condo could be so inconsistent with others in the same building. There was only one review and that might have been a red flag as well. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I don’t feel like that is fair to the next renter. I’m sure they will bring the unit up to others so give them a chance and check in before renting.

Short family get away for much needed relaxation

No issues renting on line. Check in with parking attendant and front deck was quick and easy. Condo was clean and nicely furnished. Family pool was closed during our trip but we were there to enjoy the beach and allowed to use the adult pool if needed. This resort is one of my favorites and the restaurant is very good if you don’t want to venture out. Cons: master bedroom curtain rod was broken so we couldn’t enjoy the view from bed and we only cooked once in the room but the stove burners were intermittent had to wiggle the burners to make a good connection. Front desk did offer to send up maintenance but we declined to have repairs done after our check out. Would we stay again... absolutely!
