Great view but austere unit
The ocean view from the property is gorgeous! The apartment was very spacious for a couple with no kids, and the infinity rooftop was a nice amenity.The condo was very clean (except the area rug which smelled), and the decor was austere and plain making the place look like a tidy bachelors' pad, cold and boring. The patio furniture consists of only a small table and two upright chairs making it hard to sit on the patio comfortably and enjoy the view in the mornings and in the evenings.We were also disappointed that basic items such as dish soap, dish sponge, and a dish towel were not provided for the guests to use in the kitchen. The unit comes equipped with a washer and dryer and a dishwasher, but no detergent. We ended up purchasing these basic items on our own. But what is most disconcerting is that the lobby displays a thorough list of these available for sale, but we were told that they were out of stock. The unit does come with toilet paper though. I did email Vacasa property during my stay about the lack of dish sponge and dish soap, but they did not do anything. We have rented other properties throughout the Puerto Vallarta area and this is probably the most plain and unwelcome condo weâve stayed in.The front desk is generally friendly.
