Shower water is either scolding hot or cold. Shower only drips out water. Toilet ran all the time. Staff never appeared happy. Adult only was a party poo most of the time. Language barrier was terrible most didn’t know English or anything about the resort. Not truly all inclusive. Well drinks and 1 tap beer was all the included. Can only drink at bars that are assigned to your villas name. Buffet was so so, lost the time cold food. Other pools you have access too as adult only are family and kids also. Over all would not return to this or any of Bahia Principe properties.

I likes the theme aquamarine. The food could be better. The greek restaurant was awesome. The pool could be cleaner had alot of film near the edges. The alcohol was not top tier. Aot of parties and activities. They need a better music play lists. Good time but needs some improving.

We had a great time at Bahia Principe Grand Aquamarine - Adults Only. The food was delicious, our room was cleaned daily, and the service overall was excellent. A special shoutout to Yorki, our poolside waiter—he was friendly, always smiling, and made our days even better. He and my husband had a fun connection, jokingly calling each other “Coco Loco.” The only downside of our stay was the transportation system within the resort. The train cars, which are supposed to shuttle guests between different areas, often took 15 minutes or more to arrive. Sometimes, even when one did show up, it would stop only to say, “It’s not me, the one behind is coming,” and then drive off empty, which was frustrating. Walking back to our room from the main gate took around 25 minutes in the heat, which was tough. Overall, though, it was a good experience and we enjoyed our stay!

Very large guest room, lot's of places to be out of the sun, other resorts that we have been to did not have areas where you could relax and have drinks out of the sun. It is very walkable, they have golf cart transport, live shows overall, very nice, the buffet in our resort was great for breakfast and lunch.

Let me start by I would NOT have booked at stay here if: 1. I had known this property was one of 7 resorts on the same lot with no direct access to the beach 2. I had known it was infested with cats. Cats were seen lingering amongst the restaurants, walking about the property, in the hallways where the rooms were, and on and off the pool loungers. Yuck! What about the people who are afraid of cats or allergic to them? Or, the people who just don't want to bothered by this animal while on vacation? Perhaps this information should be mentioned on the booking site or resort's website? The property is listed as a 5 Star place. Ummm, the mattresses were extremely firm, sheets were thin, refrigerator was very cold the and room wasn't cleaned each day. The liquor selection is bottom shelf and I wasn't given the option to upgrade to premium liquor. I was able to pay extra for a pool view for my time there. Staff seemed happy and all were extremely helpful. I want to give a huge shout out to Luis at the pool bar, Luis in the buffet restaurant, and Orly in guest services! I think the Amstar staff should be a bit more honest when booking excursions for guests. Upon booking the "Happy Hour" boat cruise, my friend and I were told we would have the opportunity to get into "waist deep" ocean water in the sand box area. This was NOT the case! You'd have to be almost 6ft and not afraid of ocean's currents to have the water come to chest level. #LeastFavoriteVacayEver

First impression coming into the rooms was not presentable. Housekeeping needs to do better. Floors not well cleaned, bathroom tub clogged, towels looked dingy smelled like mold in rooms. Air conditioner not throwing really cold air. Was not satisfied with this hotel. Will not be coming back. The pool area the music had to be shut down at times because of customers complaining about the music to loud, some wanted peace cause they wanna read book when this is an adult resort people looking forward to a fun vacation. If that’s the case stay in your room than. Had to make the best of it in my stay. But over all I give It from a 1 or 2. Being a vip member no champagne daily in room as told, fridge was hot and moldy. Won’t be coming back. Not happy at all inside.

El cuarto y la cama tenia olor a abombado (monado-humedo). Empleados hablaban muy duro. Lo mas triste es que todos los restaurantes estan llenos sino le das una propina no te consiguen mada y son selectivos tambien. Van mas lo q tiene. Pase de 1 dia, que el que se queda. Darnos un tours sobre las facilidades, donde comer, piscinas, donde tomar el tren, absolutamente nada. Los empleados en los buffet y pelean mucho. Es muy incomodo. Rest La Isla, los empleados a demas de diacutir entre ellos se iban y todo quedaba en espera. Mucha comida fria.

I booked the aquamarine based off reviews... and I don't like complaining but honestly this is how it went ... upon checking in waited a very long time ... kids running everywhere ... not all inclusive especially for drinks around the area, my opinion it's very segregated & not that cheap, I just want to save future people booking @ the aquamarine the headache & stress
