Barcelo Bavaro Beach. No esta remodelado, las habitaciones son viejas, los baños incomodos. Los buffet del Barcelo Bavaro Palace estaban mucho mejor y nos trasladabamos para los almuerzos y cena. Buscabamos tranquilidad en la parte de adultos y terminamos estando mas tiempo en el Palace. No fue lo que esperabamos de un hotel para adultos. En cuanto a la playa, mucho sargazo. Y ademas el fondo en la playa estaba con muchas plantas, no habia ninguna area limpia despues de pasar el area de sargazo en superficie. Hicimos la excursión a Saona y playa Palmilla, lo unico bueno fueron las piscinas naturales. En Saona no hay ninguna comodidad, no hay sillas, la playa ya no es lo que era antes. En playa Palmilla el almuerzo fue escaso, la comida no alcanzo y estaba fria. La playa tenia piedras y el fondo era fangoso. Segun nuestra experiencia no recomendamos ni el hotel, ni la excursion.

This was the best vacation we had for a long time. This place is amazing. Location, quiet place (Adults Only) lots of places to dine, great food. The only negative thing I would say unit where we stayed needs an upgrade. Bath tub leaking water on the floor, lots of condensation in the room and smell of mold. They need to do some climate control in the rooms. Staff was always forgetting to do something when cleaning, no towels, stained mats. Service was ok, staff seemed upset when asked for something, drink or to fix something in the room. Very slow and forgetful about everything. I would stay at the resort but choose another Hotel, maybe Barcelo Bavaro Palace.

We were particularly impressed by the high level of security at the resort. We felt very safe during our stay. The staff was great and Guest Services were great problem solvers. We plan on going back next summer.
