Barcelo Bavaro is really good Adults only resort. Very convenient and Provide one of the best all inclusive experiences. I had the perfect weekend gateway . The staff is very polite and hardworking .

Love the property, i would have loved they had more activities like they do in the kids side. Kayaking, sailing, paddle boards, Bachata classes, dart boards, i was stuck on the old people side. No lies Christmas music was in the lobby in September. Ugh. There was no Dominican republic feel. Might of just stayed home and just visited a hotel and had a staycation. Loved it but hated it it at the same time

This was the greatest birthday experience. Our concierge during our stay was Francia, and she did not disappoint. We were a large group of 17 people and she was very helpful in setting up dinner reservations for all of us and appointments at the spa. She even remembered my birthday and had room service place a cake in our room for me. We all stayed at the “adults only” side, which I will say was beautiful and quiet. Me personally, I like to be where the action is. All the shopping, restaurants, gym/spa, etc is on the “palace” side. The resort does offer trolly services which is convenient as well, that rotates about every 15-20 min I believe. We also had many excursions planned. Which was so fun but also exhausting. I wish we had more time to actually enjoy the perks of the resort. But when planning excursions, be sure to read pick up section. Some companies can only pick you up from the resorts security gate which is like 2-3 miles from the resort and you’d have to pay for a taxi. It’s pretty cheap but also take time management into consideration. (I did not lol) Overall this resort was amazing and I would definitely come again. I have no complaints and I think I can speak for all my 17 family members as well. Thank you again to all the staff involved in our stay.

Most of the amenities are extra money and at the family side. Staff wasn’t as accommodating and friendly as other all inclusive resorts. Needs updating in the rooms. Food was not very good and had to pay more for half the restaurants!
